I thought same, what hell happen. Is this really end, are we missing pages? :P

I think we are missing some. Usually, there is some kind of note at the end of the chapter (maybe about the next release?) but this time there is nothing.

>chapter 31
>13 pages

That feels short. not to mention abrupt. I had to double check whether I missed reading a page or two.

Isn't this just Yuragi Inn without Fuyuzora?

Without ecchi, without rom-com hijinks, without any super-powered shonen fighting abilities, and with about 10000% more fluff...

So it's the same, except for being different in almost every way.

Sooooooo cute!!!!
I know Mahoro is attracted to Nene in part because she was and is a cat. But they seem closer in other ways as well, almost like Mohoro is the older sibling if they were sisters. I wish there could be romance, won’t tho....(sigh).

Where do these girls (ayakashi) get there clothing??
They all wear nice fitting stylish clothing everyday!

Depends on which mythology you're talking about. Gatar was referring to Quetzalcoatl.

To be precise, the dragon Quetzalcoatl (Lucoa) in Kobayashi-san chi no maid dragon. The real god is male.

For anyone who needs a refresher course on who Kinako is, they show up in chapter 5.

nah gods wouldnt lose godhood for that (I mean mythology is literally full of incest)

Maybe she got drunk and did something to her sister? wouldn't be the first goddess...

nah gods wouldnt lose godhood for that (I mean mythology is literally full of incest) more likely her followers just stopped visiting her temple or it got demolished for some reason or she committed an unspeakable taboo like stealing something super important from a super important god or something

Maybe she got drunk and did something to her sister? wouldn't be the first goddess...

Spoiler

now i want to know why kuuko became a fallen goddess

Kuuko's ever-changing shirt has been on my mind ever since the first chapter. I'm pretty sure her T-shirt's text have some funny gag there underneath but I can't seem to pinpoint it.

now i want to know why kuuko became a fallen goddess

Yep that is the series.

One possible angle I guess you could look at it if you want is the author uses the promise of yuri to bait people in to reading their series till the manga is far enough along to have readers invested and then they drop the yuri pretext for just being a sol instead.

I'm pretty sure people went into this series with certain expectations because of the translated parts of that other series by this author that they could read.

Might as well be the publisher who says yuri tease is okay because that sells but actual yuri is no good and so the author has to hold back. Wouldn't be the first time that happened.

You mean Riko to Haru to Onsen to Iruka? I hadn't realized that was by this author...

"tainting the innocence"?  Your attitude to sexuality makes me go "Ew, ick."  Just so you know, I'm not shipping Kii-chan with anyone.  Sheesh.

Lol. So because I prefer this to be purely fluffy without "yuri" you think I hate sexuality in its entirety? That's idiotic.

"Not shipping" who cares? "Yuri" in and of itself is already a term for romantic - if not sexual - relationship. That's already a misuse of the term there.

I'm not the one projecting it to what so far has been purely a relationship between best friends, or merely undertones/subtext at best.

"Screeching" yuri is the opposite--it speculates that something good might happen, and the thing we like might turn out to be even better.

The only thing that makes people go "Ew" is you guys trying to force your fetish on anything that has more than two female characters interacting with each other

Thank you, couldn't have worded it better myself.

The author themself seems to have a bit of a odd writing style when it comes to this stuff if you go by some their other longer works. In the one of their works that sadly translations seem to of stalled out it is like the author can't decide if they want to write a yuri/shoujo ai story or not. One moment it is going full on yuri crush and love and just all in on the theme then the next moment it just basically drops it all like it wasn't even there and nothing happened  becoming basically just a sol/comedy.

That's pretty harsh. The manga has always had some yuri subtext; most notably with Nene's jealousy when Mahoro gives another girl too much attention, Emi's keen interest in Mahoro's personal life, and now one of the girls at her school outright saying she's fallen for her. It's too light to warrant a shoujo ai tag, and that's fine - obviously we're here to enjoy a warm and fluffy slice of life with a touch of the supernatural - but to say it's just a bunch of creeps projecting themselves, or to attempt to deny the existence of that subtext as some people have, is silly. It can be there without any of the characters involved or the viewers necessarily desiring that they start fucking each others' brains out, you know?

The real reason i read this boring manga : Mahoron various expression

am i the only one here just for Kii?

I don't need sexual tension tainting the innocence of this series.

Meh it doesn't feel same anymore since annoying Emi introduced
