MC's nickname should have been changed from 'All-A's' to 'That Bastard!'. Every time one of his opponents says his name, you can almost hear the 'That Bastard!' behind it, both with respect and derision.

"service ace"

There's no other kind of ace.

Some people consider return winners to be a return ace but it's just a really good winner

Typo on page 3, 'chance of pace' instead of 'change of pace'

"Return ace."

There's no other kind of ace.

You must learn to live with it. Like when you read a football manga and everything is a "shoot" and not a "shot."

aw yeah!

Definitely about to post a real spoiler

Zero Shiki dropshot incoming

For the most part. In the next chapter "counter-attacked" is used multiple times too. I shortened it depending on the sentence to make it flow more. hahaha

LOL not your fault then, let Kachiki sensei take the blame :D

does he use the same word over and over in japanese?

Oh thank you iMangaScans that its back!!

I was waiting for this manga to update every weeks!

Excessive, isn't it? When I read it through multiple times it sounded fine simply because it sounds like something Maruo would say a lot regardless... still debating on whether or not to change it for future chapters honestly (that and I seem to get a lot of flak for changing the words, lolol).

*Sees Nat-chan from the cover*

YOU can cook me up anytime~ ;)

Is this real life? q_q

I've lost count how much Maruo uses the word 'deployment' this chapter. Perhaps a more varied vocabulary would sound better. On the other hand, it's been a while since the last chapter was released, so I'm just thankful we got one today. Thanks iMangaScans

Thanks iMangaScans.

Aw yus, it's back.

"... using smarts, dedication and work ethic"

These are not sufficient to succeed in sport at the top levels. Talent (unfortunately) is a necessity. No matter how hard you try/train you can only reach a certain level, and going any further requires talent.

This is the current scientific consensus in educational psychology. It USED to be thought that if you train/practice enough you will eventually reach mastery (e.g. Gladwell's 10,000 hour rule) - but fairly substantial newer evidence/research has disproved this and indicates otherwise.

For the purpose of high-school level sport it doesn't really matter, but the message put across by many manga that 'enough hard work will lead to success' - while admirable - isn't really accurate.

 passion too!

Seems plausible for those who start at later age, on the other hand those who start early as early as 3 / 4 years old ... thats a difference story altogether.

p/s: there's this series I came across, if im not mistaken - the pretender, if such person with that kind of ability exist, the "... using smarts, dedication and work ethic" is possible  B) and it goes well for androids too  :D

1st time reading sports shounen manga.

nickname ALL A + Honour student + need to exercise - SOLD

p/s: it seems he's a bit of ocd type. the 1st chap- how can natsu be a klutz - doesnt sports train you to be fast in reflex . And for E-chan for his future job, he could do extremely well in anything related to analyis/actuary or even program something related to analysis.

pps: it's like im in physics and math class and robotic class with all the analysis , Ohhhh super excited..

ppps: the mangaka even include past experience/explain/circumstances that play part of how he is the way he is :)
