TinTin just rekt everyone

Pfft, big 3

So Luffy, Orihime and Sasuke are the big wigs in Yuuei, huh? I wonder which one of them is student council president(this is a high school manga there's always one)

No way, mentor figures never die.

That said, this seems like the kind of series where deaths are unlikely. You're probably right in that, if anyone's going to die, it would be All Might, but I'm just not sure they're willing to pull that, since otherwise I feel there would have been a few deaths already.

I think he is going to die very soon, but not in a fight, i think he is either ill or passing on One for All causes the previous host to die. There is this conversation between Gran Torino and All Might awhile back in which Torino asks if "he told Deku about it" and All Might says he hasent and it sounds like its a big deal. Im guessing its something to do with his health and he not having much more time, there quite a few scenes that lead you to believe All Might is aware he dosent have alot of time left, but he is probabily hiding it not to burden and hinder Dekus grown.

The Big Three huh? I see what you did there Horikoshi Kouhei (author), I see what you did there.

What the hell is Tintin doing here?

Spoiler

I thought I am the only one who thought that he resembles the Vault Boy from Fallout series!

Bakugo wasn't calling Midoriya Deku before this chapter was he?

Bakugo is the one who gave him the name Deku

That kid looks like a younger All Might to me.

With 1930's Mickey Mouse eyes.

Oh boy, the Pip-Boy's gonna VATS the shit out of the freshmen.

Miss Vamirio?

I read mic's lines in Lucio's voice.

Bakugo wasn't calling Midoriya Deku before this chapter was he?

Bakugou is the one who STARTED calling Midoriya for Deku in the first place, as shown in early chapters. He meant it derogatory, and by now it's basically a habit to him.

Then Midoriya took the name and turned it into a proper thing for himself as time went on in Yuuei.

I've been asking myself all story who U.A.'s guidance counselor was, and it's nice to get an answer. I'm actually surprised he has that kind of verbal tic when angry, which gives me the impression he doesn't get many visits.

Now, if they also had a Quirk counselor to complement him, I'd be elated.

The best being those who pass is a given, what's skewed is that a fifth are all from one class, when they were at odds of one to about 38. And that it turned out like that in both tests (I actually forgot there were two). It was explicitly said that it would be pretty rough because they've only been through one semester, as opposed to most of the other participants.

And since you mentioned redoing the exam, keep in mind that a part of the participants have already been through the exam and have more experience in that regard, so that makes it even worse.

I expected it to be a little more realistic, in the sense that, okay they all want to get a license, but there are many others who want it just as much, and aren't any less important, so you can't get it all.

But it is realistic that Yuuei has high success rate in those, Yuuei aren't top school for nothing.

I myself will find it weird if Yuuei actually scores less than this, i mean, their friggin school festival is treated like Japan's National Olympics, plus it clicks nicely with the generational "Yuuei Hunting" during the test. Why such thing as "Yuuei Hunting" existed in the first place if Yuuei not always the top dog? Additionally, it was implied that exactly this "Yuuei Hunting" is the thing that makes most of the participants lose, because they focus more on defeating Yuuei than actually passing, back on the first round.

"The Big Three" huh? Wonders what are the quirks of them each...

I don't get it, what so skewed about it? If those 100 who are passed are the absolute perfect of the crops, then isn't it all good? Plus, it's not like people who didn't pass didn't get anything and can't retry.

Oh one more thing, i'm pretty sure it's not 100 passed and 40 of them are Yuuei's first years, but two test with 100 pass limit and 20 of Yuuei first years passed on each one of them. The test is not just that one once in a year, so in actuality, there could be actually a total of 1000 people that gained provisional license per year.

I was just thinking about that too

this is story is cool. but it's just not hooking me. keeping up with it hoping something mind blowing will happen

"The Big Three" huh? Wonders what are the quirks of them each...

So with 1500+ participants, of the 100 who passed, 40 were Yuuei first years? There were many students from other schools (even if not from the most glorious heroes academy), and most had more training as second years and up. Isn't this a bit too skewed?
