Description: Ryota Sakamoto is one of the top-ranked players of BTOOOM!, an online battle game. But no amount of simulated warfare could have prepared him for what is to come… Ryota wakes one evening to find himself dangling from a tree by a parachute with no recollection of how he got there. Before he can orient himself to his unfamiliar surroundings, Ryota is attacked. As a barrage of explosives rain down on him, Ryota realizes that he too has a pack of bombs…bombs that look very similar to the ones used in BTOOOM! Ryota may have mastered the online game, but can he come out on top in this real-life game of survival?!

then why the hell are you lamenting it? just unfollow the series and throw its name in the neverending list of manga, manhwa ,webtoon and novels

Because some people have the obsessive need, like I do, to finish what they started to read.
Well, unless it's extremely painful and non-redeemable in any way.

right here

Where did all the chapters go?

Wow i can't understand how much I HATE the idea of NTR in a manga. I simply detest it. Only insinuation of it makes me mad
The weird thing is that in real life I actually don't give a shit about any girl that i've been with and never felt jealous.

Into chapter 28, this Manga is garbage like most...

Edit: Finished chapter 70. When I said "garbage", I truly meant it and still am.

There is no telling how true Amakusa's words is regarding protecting the little girl even at the cost of his own life, unless they are both related by blood somehow, like a father and his illegitimate child. But Amakusa is supposedly dead, so there is no point in speculating any further.

You can say this or say that but convincing others is not going to be easy, they can nod and go along with it but this doesn't mean they completely believe you. Sure, you can spread fear by portraying Amakusa as the killer but how many of them actually buy this story?
The characters wasn't fed all those back stories we readers has access to, or rather it'd be strange to assume they do.
And at this point we have no idea how many barrier BIM the girl had left, thus I believe gathering around her was by pure coincidence whether or not they think Amakusa is the culprit.

I would say how obsessed the dude is with the girl was portrayed rather clearly. The characters pretty much saw what we readers did in this case :o But yesss... you are correct, assuming that [every character believes "Amakusa never harm the girl"] is not very safe. But then again, that is a teenager wannabe twisted mass murderer. If a simple twenties mind like mine could be ok with that plan on the spur of the moment, then he would probably be ok as well xD

But aside from that, not being recognized as the killer give you plenty of edges at assassinating other people. I hope we all agree that if Torio hasn't derped so hard and let the girl see him hoarding bims, he might have been able to down her without even using bims at all.

By the way I am not sure if barrier bim is a one time used thing :o

Didn't Torio and Sakamoto explained it in the chapter? Amakusa is obsessed with protecting the girl. So if Amakusa is the roaming killer, then staying close to the girl will be safe, as it is nearly impossible to use explosives to kill people close to her without hurting her. And thus everyone will gather around the girl, like they did. It is all setup for the last multikill AoE. The sick dude is obsessed with recording people's horrible deaths.

And then he wants to recover the bims. Having people killing each other will waste bims.

Except no one expects the girl to have the barrier pyramid so staying near her keep you safe regardless, as long as you know when a bim is coming, I suppose :/

They should destroy all his tape right before his eyes and then kill him, eh? 8D

That might hurt the kid a bit, but I would say it would disgust them more just thinking about what those tapes contain :x

the games over! cam boy time to go to hell!!!

I still don't understand why Torio went through all the trouble to make Amakusa look like the killer by having the latter's corpse substitute for his own.

If anything, he'd become instantly suspicious the moment he shows himself. There would also be absolutely no point in all the sneak attacks, since Amakusa is officially in hiding. The remaining survivors could've just as well prepared against an attack from Amakusa and retaliate, just to realise the real killer is actually Torio.

Basically it all boils down to this:

"The killer is hidden somewhere and plans to kill us sneakily."

So who cares if the killer is Amakusa or not?

It would've been much smarter to just blame someone who's still alive, so they'd at least kill each other. Or even better: Don't blame Amakusa or anyone else. Have them all suspect each other, so they won't team up in the first place.

Sorry, I skipped right to the point in my previous post.

When you are up against a known "professional" versus amateurs, it'd be wise to focus more on the former,no?

That's true, and that's what confuses me: Why did he focus on the non-professional (and especially to-be-dead-soon) Amakusa?

The smartest and most logical move to make would've been to make Sakamoto the suspect and have everybody else try and kill Sakamoto. After everybody else is dead, kill Sakamoto while he still thinks you're his only ally, take the chips and profit.

Of course, Torio would've died trying to betray Sakamoto (hello plot armor), but that's a different story.

Hmm...when Sakamoto first arrived on this other half of the island, he did relate his whole ordeal up to this point. So this mean Torio is aware he is the top players of the virtual game itself. Even if he is 18 year-old, Torio is still basically regarded as a kid in Japanese society, I'm sure he took advantage of this for his own benefit.

He deserved it.

That's ... so sad. All the Bim man ... All the BIM. And yes they are worth more ... LOL.

Spoiler

He deserved it.

What the hell man, NTR? Seriously, you're going to say that with a smile?!

Reading too much of it makes you weird when reading vanilla stories.

Kill first Talk later

But wouldn't it be really awkward if he talked to his exploded corpse?
You only do that with the corpses of loved ones and he definitely is anything BUT love-worthy...

figure out for a fucking smartphone

Thanks for the new chapter.

Jokes aside, it's fiction, man. Drama and tragedy in fiction are tools to increasing the interest of a story. No need to be so shocked of him talking about the it with a smile. There is already far worse in this manga already
