BAM! crying distraught child silenced by sheer force of character.

Is there no end to his badassitude?

Hanfeng Linlin reminds me of Joe from Prison school with that shady hood and cough of his...

- Tells him his only weakness

- Strikes everywhere except his one fatal weakness

smh

Guess he expected some kind of trap?

Siwang Yenshen is a true man. He is not a fuckin' hypocrite and stays true to his believs.

And how he crushed the skull of that guy. guys a boss.

Ah, well, Obeiryn tried his best, but the odds were against him.

...Sorry,my message was a jumble, also, sorry for my 3 month absence.I said Socrates and religious figures like Jesus (revival nonwithstanding).I mentioned Jesus because he was the most famous, but there are many martyrs in most religions (just the martyrs of Christianity are more than ten (not saints, martyrs, people killed for their faith)).Even if said religion is wrong, even if what they believed in had flaws,it doesn't change the fact they fought for their ideals not with killing their oppoments, but with laying their souls bare,to the death. Also I said that most people are not recorded by history. Why?because their death, although heroic,is historically insignificantt,or because they never got a chance to display it,dying of other reasons, never having the chance to display it.You want 11? fine,I'll give you 2 lists of martyrs of faith. You might find some of them false, but you will find more than 11 true people.

http://blog.biographyonline.net/2010/01/people-who-died-for-their-faith.html

I would include more lists, but it is suprisingly hard to find martyrs for other religions,it seems christianity kept better records,I included the second for some minority representation, though it is STILL mostly christians...this is not bias,I am just tired to research the whole internet to find martyrs of religions that do not keep a handy list(<--lazyass)

It seems I also cannot find a list of executed scientists,it seems only freaking christians keep records of their martyrs in this world.I am however sure a reasonable number of people of letters and/or other religions also died of similar causes,if I had a month I could create a truly extensive list, but I won't (<--lazyass).

For now let me top it off with some more  names :Indira and Mathama gadhi,Martin Luther king junior,Robert and JF Kenedy,Anwa Sadat,Nelson Madela,Sthephen Biko,

It doesn't matter if you find some of these believes faulty, what matters is people died for them, that exalts the people, not necessarily the beliefs. It doesn't mnatter if you find some of these self serving, whats wrong with being self serving as long as it is for the sake of others too?all people are egotists, since by definition people only do what they want or are forced to do,the difference is that altruists serve others at personal cost, even if its egotistic its the real deal. And even if you have a belief that is profitable to you, doesn't dying for it means that you are an altruist,as you give more for that belief that you will ever gain for it?

Also, not to get too far from the comic,it seems that story proves that, the beliefs advertized by the White Creed were indeed hypocritic.

Matyrs are often idealized after the fact, even your example of ghandi is flawed (seriously, look up his lifestory, not the often quoted stuff, the man is not a saint).  That's why I use justice vs ideal, one man's justice can be another man's villainy.  An ideal is an ideal because it's near impossible to achieve, while justice is a belief that one will follow in one's life (there might be some nuance that get lost in translation being put into english, but close enough).

Jesus was "matyred" hundreds odd years AFTER he died, otherwise there wouldn't be reference to the constatine's proclaimation.  The difference with saladin was that even his enemies were heaping praise on him and was not hypocritical, he did what he said he'd do, even at significant costs to himself (again, like with ghandi, I'll have to ask you to look through his entire history before you compare it with other "matyrs", especially his actions during his campaign against the christians).  I can cross off about half from that list of yours, but it's slowly reaching up to the 10 fingers.

And the manwha have shown the white creed's reason for existence, it's their "justice" to do what they did (to fight off the nothingness), but not their exploitation masquaraded as their "ideal".

These fights are getting silly. The manga was really good for part 1 and 2, I loved the adventure, the fantasy, the characters, and the plot. Now it's just battle after predictable battle.

Siwang Yenshen: "It was just a flesh wound"
Honorable ones? More like the Phantom Rangers

>many

>only see 1 example

I'll throw you a bonus with saladin :P

still have 8 fingers remaining >.>

Socrates' ideals were directly tied with his self interest, same with jainism.

@story

Heaven's sacrifice, oh, guess the story is going down the shang seinin (I think it was shang anyhow, could be xia >.>) route

Also, "You can't wake

omeone who pretends to be asleep." no offense to anyone, but this chapter reminds me alot  of religion.... hmmm-....

(how do I quote another person after I edit?Damn, this'll have to do)

No,this is about the tendency of people to relax and rely on higher (political)power,no matter how outrageous its lies.Atheists do it too.Sure, doing that is a part of religious history, but its not the only part of religion (nor the most important, especially if you truly believe),nor does it only affect religion(it affecs mostly politics).Believe it or not, fear and complacency is what rules the hearts of most people. The ones ruled by greed, hatred or cruelty are as few as the ones ruled by ideals.

0o getting kenpachi vibes here

Siwang Yenshen, I salute you. I always thought you were just an angry lonely dude, but you just had one of the realest fights so far in Season 3, and it's not even over yet.

Yeah, it clearly said that when one power is at it' strongest the other is at it's weakest. The notion reinforced throughout that he never simultaneously uses the gauntlet(x-buster) and divine power or when he enrages and pushes his divine power to max his arm loses form.

Methinks there is also a bit of a control issue, with the powers being quite different in functioning, making it hard to use simultaneously. like patting your head and rubbing your belly at the same time,  while tapdancing.
You just can't easily split your focus like that.

I don't remember when and where, nor do I remember the exact details, but it was said, on one occasion, that Ah Gou was unable to maintain the form of his Smelting Aura arm-form while using Monochrome, no matter how he uses it, right ?

If so, this would be a straight incompatibility...

i wonder if zongheng's limit break hellfire could help hanfeng's frost sickness.

Well, as far as I can tell it's more that he has X amount of power and three different options for how to wield it. Monochrome doesn't so much weaken the smelting aura as it uses power he could otherwise put into it.

unless he finds a way to keep monochrome from weakening his smelting aura (and it probably does the same to his soul gear), he will just have to cycle through powers as needed.
