please anyone traslate this manga

hmm, 2 volume gap

Up to date. I'm not sure if I should read the next part or wait for more..
Don't really feel like watching the anime

If anyone wonders, the massive batch of chapters that have been released just today in English conclude a kind of "story arc", the one with the soldiers in the forest.

Gaia totally reminds me of Majin Buu and, to a lesser extent, Shinobu Sensui (Yu YU Hakusho).

In certain aspects if you want to just get by the story right now and watch the fights the anime indeed does a good job about it, the Big problem with the anime is that is more rated PG-13 than the full blown R that the manga shows.

The wounds are toned down too much which makes it lose the impact the manga shows, for example (SPOILERS INCOMING) Yasha Monkey's maiming of Ando, his wound just looks bloody, but not "gutted", and he still has his fingers after the surgery; and also Baki's fight with Yasha and Hanayama, the intensity and impact of the fights get's toned down far too much without making the injuries look like in the manga, Baki has hardly any scars in his body. Also the "sexynees" of Baki's mom is too toned down (SPOILERS ENDED).

Another diference is that the anime begins with the "13 year old Baki" arc, but is more of story progression than anything.

If anyone is too impatient and wants to start reading New Grappler Baki (like me), I DO suggest watching the anime, it's not bad, but knowing the manga it could have been better.

That`s exactly what i mean, if you want to read New Grappler Baki which is finished, just watch the anime and then read these when you can (what i did way back when these had only a few chapters out).

chapter 130 incoming

oh man, you're going to hate Yujiro so much guys....

Just watch the anime, it does a good job at covering it, and the sequel takes off where this and or the anime leaves off (manga sequel).

It's coming to me every time Baki's father appears...

'...It's all ogre now....'

Wow, Ogre is really the wildest beast of them all xD

Always ends at the best part, I cry everytime.

I wanted to read this for such a long time, but there are so much chapters missing.. I guess I'll just start it and wait for more ;~;

What a fucking BOSS.

Spoiler

A thought has come to me.

When the manga is complete with all his arcs, I don't know, in a dozen years or so, the following people who will read Baki will have no idea how it felt, to discover it, bits by bits, in nearly random order... Poor things :D

All that talks about "they won't understand" reminds me current talks when "they do not the feel of playing games without saving where you should have to either complete the game or start it from the very beginning" or "they do not know how it was to download games using dial-up" or "watching video tape films" and etc...

Is it worth reading the continuation of that story without having it fully translated?

I don't watch anime so I have no other way to get through this story other than reading manga.

This needs more atention, thanks for the chapters, need moar :v

Thanks so much for the upload!

How does 50 chapters of anime cover 400+ of manga? not trying to be a prick , but sound really shitty is they made the whole manga in 50 chapters

There are plenty of instances in this series where parts can be skipped, or in most cases, there is so little information per chapter that you can clearly take those and put them into an episode.

Now don't take my word on it because there could be side stories, things that didn't make it into the anime. But so far it's decent. There is enough in the anime to let you understand the sequel. And that's really what is important. You don't need to have a 1:1 adaptation. The anime does well enough to inform you of the events needed to understand the sequel.

Also the last 10 chapters consisted of travel, 1 battle, a training montage, and another battle. That can be put into 1-2 episodes if not 1 episode. But again i don't really remember in detail how much of this part was in how many episodes. All i know is that there was enough info to get me to the sequel and not have me go "WTF is going on here?"

Just watch the anime, it does a good job at covering it, and the sequel takes off where this and or the anime leaves off (manga sequel).
