If they can exist seperately then the whole point of the manga is over

They should have kept Taiga and Marie in one body. Once they found a way to separate them with the bear the story started to go downhill.

...

is it me or this manga starting to filled with "crazy" element ...

I don't mind tough ... (as long as it's interesting like Binbougami Ga !

That's nice and all But I want to see more of Taiga in Marie's body.

Kya~! She said it!

tfw marie is best girl but her part in the plot ensures that she can't win the taiga bowl

I'm feeling that this mango lost all its charm once it stopped using its initial premise. It's just chapters full of random WTF weirdness now...

Chapter 18:

Spoiler

And chapter 19 killed me. I couldn't stop smiling. I mean it wasn't the best chapter of anything I've ever read, but it was funny, and I'm a sucker for cute romcom scenarios

Wow!
Next chapter (18) is such a riot!

As a yuusha ga shinda fans : "that thighs"

Of all images of thighs, I don't find those ones attractive

I can't believe I missed wallplants.

Also: it's not even his final form!

You'd think with someone experienced like Tamura, he wouldn't stumble this badly with a new series. I want to see it recover, because the premise is interesting, but I don't think its going to make the cut. Maybe they'll let him transfer it to Jump+?

The thing I liked about this series is that it wasn't a battle manga. Now it's losing it's least redeeming quality...

I don't think so. Tamura ryouhei Manga share all same aspect About "Teenager Battle Manga with Martial Arts". Because of his style maybe He can save this manga. Same as before, He use this method to saved beelzebub in earlier debut. This arc the mangaka enter phase to introduce lot of battle for saved his ass in Jump magazine.

Tamura Ryouhei Formula's : Lot of Jokes and Tsukkomi Arc > Filler > Getting Boring > New Antagonist/Character Appeared > Clashes > Introduce Battle Arc > Battle With Greatly Disadventage Number > Protagonist Won with Amazing Martial Arts > Peace > Back to Start

.

Same as Fuimaki Tadatoshi(Robot x Laserbeam & Kurobas) to save his own ass as well, His recent manga share same genre with his earlier manga about Sport. The only difference is Tamura Ryouhei and Fujimaki Tadatoshi is Formulas their Used.(mostly method Fujimaki use, to introduce Inhumanly power of Teenager who doing sports Beyond reason and logic)

maybe some mistake :  ch. 16  p. 19

THE DRAGON GIRL OF BURB HIGH........ TAIGA BIJOGI....

The dragon what of Burb High now?

Well I guess his body had to go somewhere

But I'm hoping it's a Handa-kun-esque situation where it's just some poser that is just barely like him

The thing I liked about this series is that it wasn't a battle manga. Now it's losing it's last redeeming quality...

It's likely tanking in the rankings for precisely the reason that it was billed as a battle series yet took this long to actually get to the real fighting. And as others have commented, in general, it has lacked a clear direction so far. It's been 2nd or 3rd from last since it began ranking, and Isobe Isobee is untouchable for some reason, so its basically literally dead last among series that can be canned.

Seeing as Beelzebub was a long-running series for them, they will likely give him the benefit of the doubt for a little while longer, but numerous series HAVE been canned in as few as 16 chapters. The average for those drubbed out seems to be 20. The best comparison is probably Illegal Rare from the author of Nurarihyon no Mago—a series that sold over 12 million copies—even he was only given 30 chapters before Illegal Rare was cancelled.

So my best guess is he's got about 10-15 chapters to turn this around or its toast. Which would be a shame, because its fairly entertaining so far. Just the right amount of GB shenanigans to not be overbearing or resorting to a fanservice gag.

Well it's initially meant for fellow Japanese, so of course there will be some of self-glorification. It's a rather common practice for local products: you can find chinese stories glorifies their patriotism, american glorifies their heroism, etc. It might be perfectly fine in their country of origin but it can feel appalling to outsiders.

Solution: stop reading this kind of series since it simply means you're out of the target audience.

Im just happy that the MC is actually interested in romance this time.

Taiga, please start kicking asses already

I thought it was pretty clear that's what we were getting from the start.
