One ending I could see happening is for Ibusuki and Tarou to make a family and eve is born as their daughter. Like what happend in Chibi Vampire or Change 123

Change 123 kinda copied the ending from another multiple personality manga (that did it better IMO)

Spoiler

Huh, i've read both of these manga but while i clearly remember change 123 ending, the one from chibi manga I somehow forgot... Btw thanks for reminding me of those manga.

Well, I Sense De Javu
ITS REAL DEAL LOLOLOL
This Gramps Married With First Love Zombie(Spirits)
Just Like Tarou's Granpa Case

Thats a fine ending too but before that happen what about Ebino

She'll be the sister in law

Eve is right. She isn't like the other zombies because she grew up.

Hey, those drum sound effects were really important! At least, more important than this arc...

The point of this arc is to show you what happens when the zombies continue to exist in this state for long periods of time. They become increasingly self-aware and human-like, picking up even undesirable traits like deceit and trickery as their ego starts to work towards their own self interst rather than just their host. Also what happens when various circumstances involving the model don't go as planned in the usual zombie life cycle. To end, it basically shows you that there can be proper mutual love between a human and a zombie saying there's a chance that zombie Eve could technically win. Not that she will, mind you. I still get the feeling she's going to somehow combine with real Eve and they both win.

And we will have a real Tsun + dere in 1 body. (minus half of points compare to pure Eve)

Ibusuki is near 100% Tsun

Eve is 100% Dere.

On a side note, I finally realize why Author make Ebino 100% sexy.

Author realize even he make a best heroine but reader don't love her the most but love Ebino instead.

Ebino, fan favor character with 100% Sexy is the Author's keikaku just to keep readers coming back here.

As you can see, many many people (more than I can count) keep saying line like:

Ebino is the best girl, Ebino's chapter is best chapter, even I hate this series but I come back for Ebino,...

Your love for Ebino, all just according to the Author's keikaku.

that would be a good ending, after all Tarou arrived in the Dere-zone this chapter, Ibusuki is AT LEAST more evident in that she/he really loves him.

that's the beginning of Dark Eve the final boss muahahaha (evil laugh)

ps:

it was a pretty good arc (Ibusuki in a kimono looked gorgeous, a lot better than we she was in a fancy dress and Tarou though she was Eve)

What if the eve suddenly came out as a real human instead first love zombies...

I'm starting to be convinced that this entire series is just really weird science fiction.

No point, i think.

It promised to give answers, but it just added more questions.

Sure, we now know tarou´s family has that power, and we also have confirmation that a strong hit to the head can let him see/unsee the FLZs, but not much else i would say.

At this point can we just have a random no-name side character clearly state to everyone that "Ibusuki is a girl." until they finally figure out that it's true (5-6 chapters after it's said at the rate that this goes)? Seriously, just tell everyone already, I don't really care how anymore just do it!

So...WHAT was the point of this arc?

It provided some information on Tarou ability to see Love Ghosts as a family ability.

It shown that Eve is not unique as Kyouko is also self-aware.

The whole arc might also be the mangaka's weak attempt to throw you off who the "end" girl could be - because it's one instance where a first love isn't fulfilled.

so first love zombies are just Mr. Meeseeks

Well, Ebino it is shown clearly that she lacks confidence on herself, so despite her outward personality shes quite shy on personal affairs

For me, Ebino is boring because she is shown to be this perfect person in both personality and looks.

If she was shown to have some kind of major flaw, I would probably like her and cheer her on.

A perfect character is dull.

Because Ibusuki, filled with nothing but flaws, is so great ~~

Present a better option that loses to highlight the love one must have for the winner. The problem is: When this is done right the loser is only better on the surface and the winner is better on a deeper level.

You're right about the "better rival" being a classic trope, but you're missing its point. It isn't about figuring out which character is truly "better" but which relationship is the most meaningful. Character traits don't really matter in the end.

Spoiler

Sure, Ebino has a truly glorious pair of eyebrows but unless Eve turns into a brunette, she'll remain a side character.
