Iura...3rd place? I suspect Japanese fans' memes that we're missing out on.

People are free to like underutilized characters. Izumi from Hayate no Gotoku is another example where a character's popularity poll results contrasts with their lack of importance and scarcity (at the time of the poll).

Anyway, I got to thinking about Miyamura's secrecy toward his tattoos and I got curious: I am already aware of Japan's general stigma toward tattoos, but what would even happen should school faculty somehow find out, realistically speaking? Are they even in legal bounds to do anything other than nag at him?

Question about Hori:

Spoiler

It's just a running joke about all the bromance. I don't think homophobia plays a part.

Though it is funny seeing how Hori reacts to Miyamura's bestie Shindou as a "threat," while being completely chill about Sawada (the neighbor first year who crushes on Hori) hanging out in Miyamura's room.

Miyamura's total dominance is natural because he is popular with men and women of all types. Especially the men!

I had stopped reading this a long time ago, and now I kept on reading from where I left off (around chapter 40), and I really enjoyed it! I really enjoy how their problems are not some huge drama, because seriously, they are barely eighteen and they show their daily life problems and how it's not just them with a story, everyone has a little something. I really enjoy seeing them hang out and being normal students rather than some "natural-geniuses" and seeing them move on and grow up! I don't remember why I dropped this!!

Gracias por el capitulo!!

GAAAAYYYY

:V

Wait when did Tooru call Akane by his first name? I didn't see him do it in this chapter.

We were kind of wondering about that, too... EDIT: Talking with the translator, looks like they read over that line too fast. We'll v2 it. Sorry about the confusion :(

I can't help shipping the 3 guys.

I know it's wrong to do that at this point but.

I guess it is never too late to sail a ship.

Miyamura is afraid Yanagi would take Ishikawa from him!!! LOLOLOL!!! I almost wish I can ship this bromance... XD~~~~

"I won't take what's yours"

I guess Miyamura is worried that Yanagi might take his spot as the MC.

What is there to be confused about ? Not everyone has to have the same taste as mine or agree with me. It is just that i liked alot the beginning and today unfollowed the manga and for some reason wanted to discuss it with someone .

Nah unfortunately this is the end for me :P . Was curious to see someone elses opinion on the matter, I get your point of view but for me it feels really stretched, like, all you said is there but buried by tons of irellevant, uninteresting and supposedly funny (not) occurences, the height of which is that messy hair day and that sudden super anxious clingy gay episode from last chapter , really -_-' . I get that Miyamura has issues but damn that was horrible, both cringy and not really believable, if he was a traumatized 10-12 years old I would have flowed along with it but not an almost adult act like it was too much...

If you're that bothered by the silly and mundane slice of life shenanigans, then the series is never going to be for you because that's the bulk of the source webcomic this is an adaptation of.  It resolved its main plot comparative quickly for how long it actually is- the main story was 140 chapters along with 403 chapters of the stuff you feel is unimportant.  Their goofy double lives was moved past as the premise rather quickly.  It's fine you don't like it, but understand that you've declared the core of the series to be irrelevant and many here are going to be confused as to what you think the plot is instead if it's this kind of stuff.

Heh, why? Can I not express my opinion? Really is a shame, I was really really into it in the beginning, just take the last ten chapters and tell me if even ONE of them has some actual value to the plot (not that I am clear what the plot has been for the last 40 or so chapters...

The plot is a group of high schoolers in their senior year worrying about what happens after and getting through the shenanigans of daily life.  As for "plot in the last ten chapters":

Spoiler

For the last 40 or so chapters, the overarching plot has been:

Spoiler

If the series is not working for you, take a break, then go back and read some of the earlier stuff and push forward from there to see if it's still not your thing.  A lot of romance, by its nature, moves in fits and spurts.

This series got so stale. The began strong but after they finished with the relationship of Miyamura and Horimiya the manga degenerated into pointless random pieces of school days kind of plot , pretty bad one at that. Such a shame.

well, you could always go and read the other generic manga series around here.

Go on, shoo, shoo.

Damn, I keep forgetting who all these people are. Why can't I remember them...it's been 75 chapters... :/

Says my thought out loud~ reading this on intervals of weeks is horrible.

Akane is his first name :D

I know; I just don't recall, if Tooru ever called Akane by his first name, and I'm sure he didn't do it in this chapter (75) - leaving me confused as to why Miyamura asked him about it and why he acted the way he did after.

I have no idea who that guy is.

The guy who confessed to Yuki and made the whole

Spoiler
