That psychological move by the stalker is something I've seen in my workplace in France. They call it getting croissanted.
If an unlucky guy doesn't lock his computer when he goes away from his desk for a smoke break, another coworker will commandeer his email and set up a meeting inviting everyone in the office to enjoy the croissants he will bring the next day. It works sometimes, and everyone gets free croissants for breakfast from the victim. XD

What a face xD

That's why ai love this manga art

i figured her secret was that she was a guy- what a waste

There's no answer to that. Just reread the manga and you'll notice that MC, like almost any other romcom MC just happened to be at the right moment in the right place. He owes to Hoshino his development and "popularity". It also doesn't hurt that dude is sort of good looking, despite how the author wanted to give him that loner aura.

It was plain luck. Fat guy tried to improve by joining the light music club yet got treated like shit. Unlike MC, he doesn't have friends who support him or trust him to persevere, since MC is an awful friend. I'd be jealous too.

Ugh what? Isn't it already obvious from the panel where MC actually has nerve to ask other people about the posters that he actually always trying hard, unlike his fat friend who easily giving up because he's always looking down at himself

That's the different between them, and the reason why mc now has many friends and his fat friend is not.

Even the most attractive person will look average at best if they don't bother to maintain their appearance, slouch a lot, and have a generally gloomy or angry look and attitude all the time.  All of which Kobayakawa does.

That might be true in earlier chapter, but we already see how he changes and growing in every arc. His good and sincere act already put many people put their trust in him. Although still many not, like Hoshino's close friends.

Well most things that happened in life is just "luck", it's not like i can consciously controll or even tell what'll happen to me.

It's true the MC is not the best of friend. but Nishimura isn't all that good either, he's the type of guy who wanted a change, but he doesn't want to put effort more than he's willing to. And if he was an actual person what you wrote is probably what he thought.

If you think all of his growth and growing as a person as well as becoming social is all just luck I'm not sure you're reading the same manga.

Fatty should just stop being a jealous piece of shit and honestly ask MC how he became so popular.

Shit i can feels the mc's character growth in this series, like in olden day where every manga is not using some cliche and fanservice as plot device.

we have about 40 chapters to go in order to catch up with the magz (which is released every week, so it might added up) afaik. but nonetheles, thank you c1v1 scan!

So far, I like the progression. It doesn't really feel stale at all.
MC is getting triggered again. I love this series so much.

Koharun is a pretty great character.

It's rare that a manga can introduce new characters every now and again and not have them feel forcefully inserted to shore up those harem archetype numbers or be a plot device or just be a shit character. But almost every character they intro in Hoshino is actually really good. I even like how his lame-o friend had a pretty emotional moment there and how Kobayakawa doesn't just pull an empathetic "I understand" but rather is like "OMG STOP BEING A FUCKBOY" in his special way.

How do you feel buddy?

Wow, I mean, it was a possibility, but if the culprit is who they're making us believe, it'll be a good twist to an otherwise irrelevant character.

My bet is on the light club senpai that talked down to MCs friend.

Might very well be that he sent one of the first letters (but not the later ones) or that he acts like a gopher for the senpai to deliver said letters.

Well, I guess time will tell.

WHOA WHOA WHOA.

A straight romance manga that takes a gay character seriously? What the hell is this madness?

Yeah that straight up blew my mind.  Good for the author, approaching this with sincerity.  Things like this really elevate this series for me, because it speaks to a maturity I don't normally expect from the genre.

Regarding the current arc...

Besides a general dislike of the Idol girl, I really wasn't inspired to feel anything about this arc until I saw how that Idol Fanboy kid, Nishimura (?) was treated in his light music club.  I get the sense that his lashing out at the idol was a misdirected burst of energy from his own miserable circumstance.  Still, I would be saddened to find out it was him and he had all of this repressed anger and no ability to objectively look at himself or his actions in the light of human decency.

(Chapter 35) YES Kobayakawa!!! Be like Rokodou*
Chapter 32 made me think, Sensei is way more pathetic than Hoshino or even Kobayakawa to spend all her time with her students now, and not even want to continue teaching. I mean the whole chapter just makes her seem like a flake who can't stand settling down and now she's a lonely Christmas cake. Of course there's the whole letting Hoshino go so she can grow as a person, but to have no aspirations of her own shows she's the one who really needed the relationship.

Also why is it always outdoor rabbit pens? Such a hassle. An egg incubator in the school lab, a hamster cage in the classroom. Why on Earth would a school budget include a full-sized pen for raising farm animals?

I do like this new girl, she directly addresses my biggest issue with Kobayakawa. He's also living vicariously through his friends and has no aspirations of his own.

I know it's not uncommon to reuse poses/panels in manga, but for some reason I couldn't help but notice that on ch33 p20 and ch34 p8 they use the same pose for Koharu, just inverted+some shading/lighting/shoe difference. lmao.

The new girl reminds me
