took the time to reread some of the chapters (just found the other series of the author, and read the comments)

1- and you're telling that he didn't practice, she showed incredible skills (memorizing pi to more than 1000 digits, even the old man tell him straight that he thinks of her as superior, but she's too caring and that the company is going down, why chain your favorite grandaughter to that??, they showed already succeding in America, why is that bad? (also the beanpicking is part of the etiquette and she was better, he lost in the test of courage cause he didn't focus, that's why the maid said that he was vexed by the lose)

2- they explained beforehand why he was like that and why he was a prick, even when the series was advancing, he started to acknowledge her more and more.

3- she chose the maid over the company... surely that's material to take over that said company that's rotten?. she was too relaxed fighting him, they were playing jenga and was taking the fight as a game not a serious as it needed to be, the prick chose an important person to make her realize that ... and you know what? it worked, she beated him in the pool and it wasn't like he didn't practice too.

4- the last point it was that the game was a draw (5-5) so the deciding factor in the end was luck, that was the point, not talking about luck of birth.

5- ehh, the point wasn't that, she was free to choose her destiny and even if she wanted to succeed the company, she chained herself with more about the family than that she wanted to succeed, already being in high school, she should have known more about what was the company doing if that would have been the case, sarutobi was looking at the conglomerate more.

6- point taken, she could have done the same, but it would go again about what the grandpa said, "large scale organizational restructuring" aka, massive firings. And they were saying that the conglomerate was in the red numbers.

and last but not least, they're not facts, are your opinions, so I think treating them as facts would upset some people.

fake sweet?? don't know what are you reffering with that ...

but she was clearly more compatible with Sarutobi, she watched him fight against adversities and that's why she stayed with him, and well, Inugami was more of a protagonist than a heroine, she following her own path, was in another road of Sarutobi staying in the company, it couldn't have worked. (also he really had a thing for her, the test of courage loss was an evidence that he lost focus cause of her)

and what's wrong with liking boobs xD??, and well the part about self-inserting it felt more like someone else was proyecting his ideas on the manga animated-smileys-rolleyes-10.gif

it has passed a lot of time, but still wanted to make my points.

1- "why chain your favorite granddaughter to that??" Rly? RLY??? favorite granddaughter... she is his only granddaughter and still she isn't his favorite, grampa probably loves spider living behind his drawer more than he loves her. He may be proud of her, but he sure as hell doesn't love her. He chained her to Inugami family, prevented her from having normal life, and than after wasting half of her school life which was supposed to develop her social skills and friendships(potentially lifetime), he decided to say: Gramps:"Hey kiddo, you know that Inugami company? That silly little thing you sacrificed like only everything else in your life to become successor of?  You do! Good, because this random guy your age is gonna get it. You don't like it? Shut your dirty mouth woman I decided and that's how it's gonna be! Oh you want to know why I took a massive figurative shit on your whole life? NO! You don't deserve to know it, I'm not gonna tell you."  Sarutobi:*Says literally anything* Gramps:"KYAAAAA!!!!! You're so cool, yeah let's do that"... But honestly, company is going down why chain your daughter to it? Grampa knew company will crumble even before Inugami was born, and in her youth, he taught her to be proud of Inugami family and to value it highly and he let her do everything in her life for the sake of becoming good leader of Inugami famili... which he knew will only push him away from choosing her as a successor. Instead maybe, just maybe he could have raised her to be fit for that job.

Yeah lol... He really loves his favorite granddaughter.

2- Yeah agreed, he had a rough past so he gets a free pass for acting however he wants to. /sarcasm

He even said he realizes that Inugami family isn't to blame for his life, so he is being a c*nt to Inugami just because he is a c*nt.

True enough, he did start acknowledging her at story progressed... But then again, should you praise a murdered for stabbing his victim only 5 times as opposed to stabbing his previous victim 15 times?

3- She didn't know the state of company at that time, and despite company being so important to her, maid girl was still her only friend. So obviously she appreciated maid more that Sarutobi did.

5- Yeah after so long she was finally free from her grampa and all the rules of Inugami family which ofc shouldn't have mattered to her since she was never supposed to be successor, but regardless they crippled her life.

Congratulations, you have found a plothole. Inugami dedicated her whole life to a company but never actually knew anything about it... Neither has Sarutobi after he was appointed as successor instead of Inugami.

Yeah that test of courage thing is bull... He didn't lose because he was focused cuz he had a thing for her. He was talking to her because he didn't expect her cooperation in the game(free win for Inugami), he obviously notice Inugami running and screaming but he didn't do anything even tho he was athletically superior to her and would almost certainly win, and he obviously let her win like he was trying to do in round before(first one to bungee jump wins).

Stopped at chapter 2, I just can't bear with the grand father and the guy.

1-she only beat him at games of chance or things she praticed. everything relevant to society, was in the guys favor. (wits, intelligence, etc)

2-cop-out to make the slow reader believe its ok for the guy to have been a total asshole the entire serie.

3-she chose the maid over the company....he used her to hurt her friend... so no

4-true luck of birth is a bitch...doesnt excuse him for being one also.

5-cop-out to make the slow reader feel like she wasnt utterly defeated

6- yes he did, and by your point 5; she could have done the same...with the company that should have rightfully been hers...

sorry that pointing out facts upsets you.

Right...

The fake 'sweet', true submissive moeblob with boobs... The correct heroine for self-inserting lazy men. animated-smileys-rolleyes-10.gif

I come here for Renai Shimasen ka?

And I go out dissapointed. The art is great, but the history is terrible. I can´t even end this manga.

Don't waste your time on mordeth.  I think he's the same guy that trolls Batoto posting stupid ass comments about the most inane shit, about how everything in manga is offensive to women and spends days arguing about it.

Don't give him/her/whatever fucking pronoun doesn't offend it any more food and they'll go right back under his bridge. *cough* Tumbler *cough*

...your vulgar post, void of any argument, is much more akin to a troll's than mine...

Ah, mangaka and their imaginary grasp of cup sizes. And now a recap of the story: Meh meh meh meh meh. Blah blah blah. Meh? Blah! Meh! Blah! Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh.

Or maybe just like how the means by which we classify shoe sizes depends on the country, so too is there a difference in the ranges for bra sizes A - whatever.

Or maybe you're right... the mangaka all cba to check, every single one of them.....

Wow, that is what you got from the last chapter???

Spoiler

I don't even care if you disagree at this point. Just the fact that you've turned all of that into your comment, upsets me. It really does.

Vaya decepción, he desperdiciado mi tiempo en leer esto...

great 1960 themed manga.

women realising that something as complicated as running a company can only be done by a (self-insert) male that is superior in almost everyway. and that the best thing they can do is either serve said male or get out of his way.

wha? that wasnt the mangaka's intention?

the story was interesting at first, I'm just glad the correct heroine won xD

Ok.... Honestly when i saw in follow list 17 chapter with suffix end, i had doubts that it is truly this manga that is ending. It was far too abruptly, while the timeskip at the end wasn't that bad there was not much that was resolved. For this whole time i thought that tsubaki developed some feelings towards sarutobi, or at least that was what author wanted us to think, but nope in this chapter we see that  sarutobi cared about maid and noticed those little things that tsubaki didn't. Since she(maid) decided by herself to be sarutobi secretary we can safely assume that both of them feel something towards each other, but it would be far better if it was stated more straightforwardly. Btw, this whole 10 round thing was bs in itself, sarutobi lost in archery and bean picking, he is superior when it comes to athletism, thus i can't believe that he'd lose in archery or bean picking.

first, it was noticeable that sarutobi had feelings for the maid since ch.11 (when he took her)

the archery match was her best sport
the beans, well I don't fucking know xD

...What an unsatisfying end.

Sarutobi x Maya aaaawww yeaaaaaaa

I forgot about this. It's a lot less annoying than I remember. I like it more than I did before. The ending suffers from having 'no build up' but it's nice and laid-back. The conflict has mostly concluded and the story was pretty much cruising by while putting in some work to make the epilogue make more sense.

Sarutobi x Togame is nice even if it's not clearly established. Now I kinda want to see a (non-NTR) story where the 'heroine' willingly ends up with the 'antagonist'. Also, lol Archery match too late.

Probably just me but it seemed like Sarutobi kind of liked the maid and vice versa. The last competition and time skip kind of left subtleties here and there.

well, what can i say? nothing much got accomplished in those 17 chapters  except

for maybe a tiny bit of character developement and going around in circles with the

plot itself.

truth be told, i just stayed for the art, meh...

thanks for the translation anyway :P

So Inugami loses her position as heir, is pretty much in a self imposed exile and abandoned by her friend.

I'm sure that the actual story is lighter than that, but this is all I can see it as.

I liked it. Shame it got axed.

Ending was kinda underwhelming( not bad just underwhelming ) but, I guess that's to be expected from axed manga.

As Snails said, Manga was mediocre in everything except art.

Since the only reason I was reading this is hoping for some romance between the main protagonists, I want to sincerely say this to the author:

"Go fuck yourself."

Welp that happened. You can tell the author got the word at around chapter 14 "you've been axed, finish this in 2 or 3 chapters".

Would have liked to have known more about the maid's reason to stay, Tsubaki's life overseas and generally everything that was presented by the time skip.

Ah well the author did a decent job considering he had to cut it off so quickly like that so it can't be helped.
