This is one of those instances where ending the story early actualy improved it. The series and main character were pretty one note, allthough his powers were pretty cool. He ran out of room to grow too quickly.

I really like the art and style at least, I'll follow the auther's new series for the time being.

This was trash...

Deserved axe. Author (or editor) didn't know what should it be about and ended mixing too many tropes.

man why they always axe the best mangas :,( (my favorites)

This whole manga was pretty terrible honestly. The story was all over the place, the characters are very one-dimensional, and it was rushed as hell.

OMG. The end is... I can't say it is bad and I can't say it is good either. The final is just amazingly sad but in the some parts, it was very real. I just.. Loved Teppei. And of course the rabbit :') :'( Even though the final is sad, this manga is my favorite.

Yeah the series was rushed pretty hard in the end, but I'll give props to the author for being able to close the story in such a was.

The series didn't really take off or sell me on the characters but I was hoping to see them expand on the setting.

You know, seeing what other goblins awoke and what the conditions of the rest of the world was like.

All in the series was okay. It's be expected from an axed series i guess.

I agree. I would recommend this title to friends. It's very good and the ending is a little tragic, at least we got one glimpse of how the future looked like: world filled with hybrid ogres.

Why good stories always get tragic ending? Examples: Stealth Symphony, Shin Angyo Onshi, Shingetsutan Tsukihime and others.

Of course there are good stories who get good ending but they aren't THAT GOOD like those with tragic ending.

Damn, I recalled one axed title... Mx0.

I really liked that one, very funny and good. I don't understand why they axed it.

Again, impeccable.

Considering you've offered no rebuttal of any actual substance, you really have no room to talk.

I don't have any feeling of anything being rushed. I think that the author made a good work with his writing. There was a time to introduce be last boss, a time to the strategies, evil plans, character development. You could say that was fast, but not necessarily rushed.

Neither the end is that open. Author explained almost everything that happened in the future.

The only thing that seems to much of a coincidence is that that girl was the source of the ice power, but this fact alone didn't have any great impact on the series, in fact, it even helped to aggrave more Teppei's situation and he was on the verge of complete transformation. So it isn't a ass pull.

-----------------------

That being said, I just want to add that Yuki conforting Teppei was somewhat erotic. Teppei telling that his body was hot, Yuking cooling him down with his head on her chest...

Meh, had high hopes, so rushed it feels kinda fake and unintended storyline.

Spoiler

I was hoping for a bad ending, manga with bad endin that's the one I will always remember.

The epilogue makes the ending palatable to me. The plot itself is still gutted by the axe, but at least there was a happy ending.

Spoiler

goddamn he deserved that end xD
he was like a red batman, no the hero they deserved but the one they needed it (not sure if it was write well xD)

Spoiler

 if you're not an imbecile.

Again, impeccable.

Your reasoning is impeccable.

That's something people should keep in mind when stuff gets axed from WSJ—it's not always the case that it was bad, but that it didn't line up with the demographic of the magazine. IE: iShoujo being little episodic romance stories just wasn't a good fit for WSJ. At least it was one of the few that were allowed to transfer rather than die out.

Lately I just get mad at the authors that show up at WSJ with an idea that's more interesting than exciting.

Gotta say setting and idea was pretty good, but execution not so. I mean author didn't bring full potential of this work and just like those before me said, this would work better being seinen rather than shounen. At least despite being axed teppei got happy ending which is rare.

And for those last few pages in the omake just makes the ending quite sweet for an axed series mmm...

The mangaka should try to submit for seinen  since his  workk seems more suitable in Seinen demographic mmm...

And another promising manga axed.

Pity.

Absolutely no closure.

Still no closure.

can't say more for the author and the translator a....aaand the contributor but thanks for bringing the epilogue

now i can rest in peace

yeah was about to say the same thing..
its not a bad ending, but kinda rushed for god sake...

axed = rushed ._.

It's a shame this got axed. It felt like it had potential to me, much like Stealth Symphony.

Oh god why did you have to remind me of Stealth Symphony. IT COULD'VE BEEN SOOOOOO GOOD, DAMMIT.

That ending felt like they didn't even end it properly. Not only was it axed but it was a sloppy axe. WTF.
