damn, im honestly pleasantly surprised, it started good, was kind of hard to follow at first, but after chapter 7 it was just beyond damn great. lovely.

also gentas character changed kind of drastically, am i wrong to assume that he got hypnotized?

Meh some ppl are never happy. There is little extra chapters could have added to the story, which is actually beautifully crafted and illustrated. A great story is one that resonates with and possibly inspires the reader, not one that is merely internally consistent. There is a reason why emerson described that excessive need consistency as the hobgoblin of little minds.

An unlikely outcome is often more important than a likely one. We are interested in the extraordinary not the mundane. If one wants reality then they want to watch a soap opera and probably have no interest in art or literature. This story is about the importance of a place one calls home and the people they share it with. It leaves a lasting mark and can often be a major influence in their life. It definitely struck a cord with me. I know it will do so with others who can appreciate what it is really about. That makes a great story in my book.

The art was fantastic, and the starting set up a good base for a long slice of life story ala Maison Ikkoku, Yume de Aetara, but the story seemed to be put on fast forward halfway through and never let up... in a bad way. by the ending, it just seemed forced. You don't really get the sense that the residents all had made lasting memories there enough to invest the time and money to restore the place 10 years later. It felt like Genta was there for like 4 months before he was forced to move out. Also there were other residents prior to Genta and no one cared.

God damn this was good!

Btw, he has another manga that hasn't been taken: Tsuyayaka na Ona. It would be fantastic if FwPA would take it.

Many thanks FwPA for all the great work and for all the good moments. ;-)

That cover looks intriguing.

He f***ing did it!

I know we are all about feelings right now but...

Fine art is all about hidden genitals.

Decent last chapter but the whole ending was terrible. It's like they said to author "wrap it in two chapters, then go home".

That was a pleasant read, with really astounding art. Thank you so much, members of the Futari Wa Pretty Anon team ! ^_^

I'm really disappointed that this series was only 14 chapters. If it were a little bit longer, if the characters and their interactions were just a little bit more fleshed out and developed, this could have been exponentially better. Everyone here is commenting on how good it was, and while I agree...I just feel as though there was a good deal of wasted potential, unexplored possibilities.

In the other news, Mikoto forever #1.

I feel like this manga should have been double in length or perhaps even more. A lot of the stories were well- written, but seem fragmented. There was little transition and build-up between chapters that left it feeling a bit lacking at times, although the characters were still splendid. If each character had a chapter outlining his or her background, it would have made the ending far more enjoyable. It seemed like the author had thought out the backstories of all the characters, but never really put the pen to the page. Still, a stellar story and wonderfully done.

This...outlines my feelings perfectly actually.

I was not expecting her to actually take him seriously. Now I'm curious as to how exactly he developed for her to fall for him. I'm also curious as to why a certain mushroom isn't in the picture.

Feels like some kind a bad end for me.

If there was any word I could use to describe this manga I would use "nostalgia" which I find fitting. All in all, I would give this a 5/5.

I just found out this gem today. It was a helluva awesome read.

Do you have any recommendations like this manga?

Reading previous chapters... this was sooo gooood! Who is this momoka at the end thou? The one with the $$$$.

I'm trying to think of the perfect victory song for this.

I'm stuck between Hint - Air to Sky (my personal favorite ending song) and Get Back by The Beatles.

edit : it's Bank Head by Kelela, one hundred percent.

They have money problems right ?

They're all rich fags , why can't they help her keeps the house ?

I mean i thought Genta the poorest guy in there , and what? he own and drives around topless sport car

Seems like....Having a construction company...paid off... :)

Happy end, YEAAAAAHHHH! :D

who the fuck married my youko-san. hahahaha

In their hearts.

Right next to the Sniper Isle

this has been fun ride folks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They started a trend. When future Bob comes in with his laser wrecker, all they gotta do is build it again - A little different each time but with the same lovely charm. You can't always get what you want, but you can come close. All's well that ends well.

Good ending. Good.... T.T

It's a simple but touching story. I knew a Reiroukan in my youth; my sister lived in there, and there was no landlady. But I can understand how lovely an old house can be for a community of youngsters students. But beyond all of that, this reading had such a pleasant art from TOMI AKIHITO.

Isn't page 44 supposed to be last page?
