Description: Keyman is the resident hero of Lockville City, a place inhabited by both humans and animal people. In the years since his debut as a hero, crime has decreased significantly, which does not look all that great for the local police force. But one day, after he catches yet another group of criminals, Keyman is mysteriously murdered. Detective Alex and his police force are investigating the murder, and one of their major clues is the words "Dr. Necro," which were carved onto Keyman's body after his death. Their case gets even stranger when Alex unexpectedly meets "Dr. Necro," who appears to be a young girl, in a bar. What monster could be behind the murder of Keyman, and what does the childlike Dr. Necro have to do with it all?

It feels like reading Hellboy in manga form

Oh hey it's Bloodborne!

Oh hey Bloodborne got fucking punked in a chapter by crossdressing strippers!

Why did you even leave home, Bloodborne?

Necro doesn't have nipples...

Take the studio wars to Reddit.

Ayyyy tig ol' bitties is back.

Spoiler

...JC Staff bad animations? Really? That's one thing you CAN'T accuse them of - they're extremely consistent in their animations. Even if Danmachi and Sword Oratoria were rushed, the fights were very well animated and well presented. And I don't think Danmachi counts as "one of the best selling series", unless you got stats to show it.

Also, it's not the studio's fault that the IP holders didn't want to make a sequel of some show. Not sure why you're blaming JC Staff on delaying Index S3.

He's the devil, he's not supposed to do everything himself but only act in such a way that his involvement and presence is always uncertain. That's why he controlled the gorilla you carry the girl off. That he is taking action himself also shows how impatient and close to the climax he is.

That's the problem. He doesn't seem to HAVE any established rules. What he can and can't do seems entirely plot-dependent.

I'm sick and tired of Butler being ridiculously OP.

If he was so strong, why did he even NEED anyone else? He could have done all of this on his own in far less time.

It's likely that he still has limitations in this world, rules he has to follow as per his original contract and whatever cosmic laws govern the supernatural.

JC Staff

Oh god please no. Why would you even recommend that to anyone.

For JC Staff they've butchered not only the Index adaptations but also Danmachi. Consistently terrible animations, with their budget going god knows where for every single one of their shows. They've made one or two decent adaptations, but I just can't understand why they would butcher such amazing series. They show no respect for the two best selling LN series, you can look at Bones where they clearly have such a respect for BnHA that they were ready to announce the following season immediately, completely confident that the show would be worth investing in (and it has been). JC Staff literally put a "The End, that's all folks" at the end of Danmachi, and for what purpose? Why delay another Index season that has 22 volumes and is on the next set of volumes in NT?

I just can't at all with JC Staff. If OPM isn't butchered it'd be a miracle, luckily they had the bar already set for them so maybe that will have them by the balls.

I really don't understand why that studio constantly seems to get a free pass from a lot of people.

Studio A1 always grinds my gears too for how poorly they handled Nanatsu no Taizai, also the Ao no Exorcist content.

I'd say at least offer up Studio WIT

WIT was responsible for adapting AoT and Seraph of the End. They've been extremely faithful to the material and do a pretty damn good job if you look at either manga in comparison. Let's not mention any OST from them is god-tier (like UFOtable)

So Necro returns to bring a bigger plot to the story.

probably he couldn't create the keys, but give the knowledge and as there nobody who will do it now, he needs to act now as there is only two keys and there is an actual gate now.

He is also having a lot of fun on the way. Gotta admire a man that enjoys his work so much.

HAHAHAHAHA!

Trigger have worked on KLK (which was shit), LWA (which was just a light-hearted version of Tweeny Witches), Kiznaiver (which was pretty good overall), When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace (which was boring), Inferno Cop (which was fun once but had no rewatch value), Turning Girls (which was another boring effort), and Ninja Slayer From Animation (which was utter bollocks but at least had more of a point to it than KLK).

You're saying they're automatically better than other studios just because they happen to have done a few anime that you adore, or am I wrong about the LWA/KLK fanbase? Have I misunderstood the numerous comments I've seen from fans of those two franchises about "how Trigger have saved anime".

Personally I used to be a fan of Manglobe, who made Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy and Michiko to Harchin (the latter is an amazing series), until they made The Sacred Blacksmith.

The point is that there are other options that could do Keyman justice.

David could do it. Easy.

He kept a stiff upper beak.

Are you fucking kidding me? Hell no I don't think A1 Pictures could give Keyman the treatment it deserves! They're shit, and all they're ever responsible for is shit adaptations!

People trust Trigger because Trigger makes great fucking anime. People don't trust A1 (or Deen, lol) because they make shit anime.

A1 has Your Lie in April, Grimgar, Working and a shitload of good series. As long as they don't have 3-4 series in a season, they produce great stuff.

Deen has Konosuba and Shouwa, people don't trust them because of Fate and Higurashi stuff. They're inconsistent.

I only have this question... HOW THE HELL THIS MANGA HAS NEVER BEEN IN THE HIGHEST RATED SERIES!!!??

this series friggin awesome, it's one of the best manga I have read in a long time.

Walter why?!

Also just to be clear, all the people working in the strip club that were women were actually crossdressers?

The main four here yes. The other girls may actually be girls we'll never know.

Seriously? So you don't think that Ufotable, Production I.G. A1 Pictures, J.C. Staff, KyoAni, Bones, Zexcs, P.A. Works, Madhouse, Xebec, Studio Deen or any of the other anime studios with greater and more diverse experience could do a better job than Trigger?

I still don't understand this whole adoration of Trigger to be honest. Why are so many people enamoured with the studio, or is it just that they love LWA and KLK so much that they've become blind to the good work that other studios do?

Oh, and Trigger didn't save anime because it didn't need saving in the first place. It's a bloody international industry so statements like that are simply stupid.

Also. Alex is possibly the most badass T-Rex in any medium.

My god you read in more stuff to that comment than what was said.

hey studio deen worked in konosuba ... but yeah, they suck ass in the artistic department, maybe Bones or Madhouse could make a goodwork too. Trigger is the best option still, to mix the noir with the comedy and suspense in a good way.

ufotable is good but they are almost a type-moon specialist, so don't think so.
