Description: Shun, Kaname, and the twins Yuuki and Yuuta have been friends since kindergarten. It's a little hard to tell if they actually get along or not - but even as high-school students, they hang out together. Recently, they've had a new addition; a half-Japanese transfer student Chizuru, who has started to liven up the group. This manga is really just about their daily lives, which aren't particularly passionate or exciting. A tranquil and sometimes comedic story of youthful friendship...

So in ch. 70 at the beginning, there's those frames showing the characters done up as fiction.  I thought the top one was the funniest because it's Journey to the West and Chizuru is the Monkey King.

As a grandma boy myself, I understand Chizuru's feeling 100%.

Oh no, I got teary-eyed at work. :( Chizuru isn't even my favourite most of the time, but this manga is able to make you love every character. Stay genki, obaa-chan.

I cried a bit. Chizuru is the best guy ever.

I want to protect Chizuru's smile. I'm not sure why but I always found his chapters the best ones.

Feels like he gets the least screen time?

This manga is going to give me a heart attack from cute.

Ah, these introspective chapters that focus on only one or two characters at a time instead of the whole group are also enjoyable. Nice to see what deeper thoughts the boys have outside of their regular friends-dynamic.

So, a bookless report.

ok that was cute

Chizuru, best boy all around.

Newest chapter reaffirms this.
Yuuta and Shun always seem to have the most poignant conversations, don't you think?

/It's why I ship them SHHHHHHHH
_: (´ཀ`」 ∠):

Chizuru, best boy all around.

I really love how this manga is able to stay light hearted and warm, keeps the 5 boys close from each other, without falling into shounen-ai as each of them has a low-key romance with someone of the opposite sex and at the same time these romances are not the focus of the manga.

It's just five boys, goofing around and living their youth, with a bit of drama, a bit of romance and lots of laughs.

The author is really skilled.

I sense heartache in the near future...

Aww... but Shun's in love with that Maiko.

Mari's love is doomed. She should notice Chizuru sempai.

That Yuta&Yuki bonus chapter is too cute... Yuki really likes his brother <3

For every chapter I just love this manga more and more! Thanks for scanlating!

ok, now i really want a chapter with Shun and his family...

14-sai no Koi and Game over by Mizutani Fuka

That is way too unconventional.

Pairing up a 20-30 year old woman and a middle schooler is too much of a stretch.

YESSS! MY OTP!. THE COUPLE I WANTED SO BADLY

Lovely chapter, but sort of confusing at times.  I mean, the general thrust was clear enough, but just who was saying what dialogue and what they meant by it and how it related to what other people said was often kind of fuzzy.

ITS HAPPENING!!!

That sports festival was amazing! It showed a variety of events rather than the customary one or two we get to see. Maybe because there are 5 main protagonists instead of one couple? Either way, I loved how it felt like a complete festival. By the end, you were just as flushed with happiness and satisfaction as the characters. These kinds of school events are so important, so I'm glad they did them justice.
