I think you should leave the cat's name (Nori) untranslated rather than call him seaweed lol. That said it does make more sense this way in the context of the last panel and title.

I disagree in this specific case, since the entire point of the cat's name is lost without the translation. He's not supposed to have a dignified proper-noun kind of name.  He's named after, well, seaweed.

I take a fluid stance towards name translation, deciding how I think it should be handled on a case-by-case basis. But if the name is clearly a dictionary word, I lean strongly towards translation.

Except that the name of the cat is Konbu, which translates as "kelp".

Wow. The name in its original language sounds so much more cat like. I like it at least. Seaweed is just weird (but I still like it). Kelp... it would be better I think. Oh well, I’m weird anyway, not like my opinion count in that context. XD

It's a weird title. Humans are animals and seaweed/kelp (actual kelp) is (well can be) alive. The living thing especially, no matter what's being talked about, it's living, so it really doesn't apply to the misunderstanding.

Ok what the hell, dude. I don't need some rando on the internet telling me I don't have a disorder after I've been diagnosed by professionals and have gone to therapy. Thanks. I may have more or less gotten over my issues, but it still exists. As for the suspicions about what's going on in my life. I'm self aware enough about MY FAMILY to know what's going on. I don't think someone who knows nothing about my family or me can say that there isn't a problem. U aren't really making sense either. I've already had suspicions about myself and have gotten diagnosed and have gotten help. No thanks to people in my life who ignored my issues and called me stupid. All I said was don't understate issues and call them names assuming it's their fault, cuz it doesn't help. As for the forgotten background characters, the comic wants to expand its cast probably. And add some characters so the main characters make new connections and have a happily ever after for when this comic inevitably ends.

Please stop. Selfdiagnosing mental disorders is one of most harmful fads on the Internet nowadays. Go and find professional help if you have some suspicions about yourself and if it's about other person ask them to do the same. What you are saying doesn't make sense and i don't even know where to start.  Sorry for the off-topic. PS: What is wrong with number of new/forgotten characters appearing out of nowhere?

Well you cut out part of what i said so i think it's not a matter of convincing.

I picked the part which felt the most random to me: "Aya can talk to Mana so she can't be depressed or socially anxious."

Again, I'm no expert, but nowhere did I read that suffering from either of those conditions made it impossible to communicate or make a connection.

Unless you could somehow explain that to me, I didn't really see the point of focusing on the rest.

If you insist, however:

Well the only reason why you think she has those disorder is well she can mind read, that leads her to talk to people in her head. once that barrier is gone (like telling them to mana) all said symptoms disappear.

Wouldn't it make sense for someone's condition to improve as a result of having made a new friend they can confide into? "Well, she's not as depressed as before so she never really was", is that your conclusion?

Because the story is most likely going to end soon, Mana and Shimizu suddenly have pairs, when a series gives the remaining characters without a love interest one, then it usually means it's about to end. And also when forgotten characters reappear.

Holy crap, I almost forgot this was a 4-koma series. They actually had a setup and a payoff.

How many people thought the chapter title was going to be about Toda's Nakano's imagination? Raise your hand.

*raises hand*

I'm gonna need a bit more convincing than that, buddy.

Guys here all forgot who seaweed is.it's clearly

So yeah.

Cutaway joke? That sure is unusual.

Or maybe they're introducing some weird new characters. I hope not though, I kinda just want this to move forward, because it feels like we've been in the same scene for eons.

Maybe that's just the problem with webcomics.

This is getting dull and silly.
Not getting anywhere and recycling the troubles that were surpassed before...
What a shame.

Toda has named his dick "seaweed."

"You know, because it's male!"

"It's gotten a lot bigger!"

Cutaway joke? That sure is unusual.

Toda love seaweed, Nakano seaweed especially ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Actually, im pretty sure I can recognize symptoms of something that i myself have...? It's not that hard. She acts like I do. I'm not a champion of mental disorders, I'm just saying she has symptoms of those disorders and saying people need to calm down and stop calling her names cuz of it. I know the extent of anxiety and depression, I've inherited it from the people i live with. I'm not trivializing them. Understating someone's problems is trivializing. Of course, this is just a manga, but in reality never understate. You have no idea what the person is going through, and by just ignoring it or blaming it on their personality or calling them names, they'll never get better. They'll just get worse.

Being sad or feeling blue is not "depression", and being shy or introverted is not "social anxiety". If you want to be the champion of people with mental disorders, you can start by not trivializing them.

It doesn't matter because Mana is cute.

The fact that she can normally talk to mana dictates that she does not have any of those two.

I'm gonna need a bit more convincing than that, buddy.

Which is worse, overstate the issue or understate it?
If previous chapters are any indication, Nakano has indeed shown symptoms of both social anxiety and depression so it's not like either of those diagnoses would be far fetched.
Either way, it's not like any of us is an expert.

Once you start trying to explain to yourself why your own thoughts aren't lewd, then yes, it is too late for you...

Ninety-nine times out of a hundred, you'd be right about that. But in Aya's case, her (main) reason for wanting to be alone is clearly to avoid the animosity of the girls who would rather date Toda in her place. She's just been constantly second-guessing herself ever since recent revelations about her telepathic powers...

Did everyone suddenly get a crash pairing course? What is this devilish magic at play?
