Here's a couple images from Nobel's twitter.

I don't get why the hate. Nakano is a teenager (a pretty difficult age, filled to the brim of insecurities and emotional craziness)  who can read minds and somehow project images (VERY realistic images) associated with what the person is thinking. Just think, what if, what IF, those images, or the thoughts associated to them, albeit realistic, weren't really accurate. They are vivid enough for her to sometimes fail to distinguish them from reality (as we saw when she thought Toda was crying), so it's not unthinkable that she would have a hard time when confronted with the fact that her power doesn't work like she thought it did, and on top of that, SEEING things that are not really there, that now also don't hold correlation with what the person is really thinking.

Her breakdown is understandable, she doesn't know is she's being delusional or if she can actually hear the voices of people's minds.

Hey, just wait till the existential crisis she gets when she starts thinking that she can feel thoughts too!

That's the thing about solipsism. You can never be sure. Delusion that knows more than you? Nothing to say otherwise that your delusion is making sense for you. After all, does the bizarre otherworldly shit in your dreams seem surreal to you? If nothing is real, then any further proof of reality is manufactured by the delusion itself. Circular and nonsensical at first look? Yep. But that's what makes it a delusion and never knowing for certain.

This was more or less my reaction. Compared to many of the other responses, I was more disappointed by

I don't find this arc all that of a stretch; inconsistincies in her ability led Nanako to question the very nature of her reality... that'll mess anyone up.

This arc is worst than the last prison school arc

boring as hell

Least that had tits.

Oh, thank god, this stupid part of the arc is over. Now hopefully we can get to figuring out what the extent of her powers are, which is actually interesting.

It was an essay that a bunch of news organizations took way too literally.  The author was being very metaphorical about the history of American Racism, but it was taken in a literal context.

Sorry, but an article shoving racial issues into the solar eclipse is much more retarded than people taking it "too literally".

I dont get it. This development is really stupid. Delusion that knows more than you do? Like with Toda's ex-girlfriend? Delusion that interact with real people? Connected her with others? The delusion that proves her ability? The only ones. Except Nakano think she's actually living in a machine where everything is fake, then this development is illogical and really stupid.

I skipped breakfast today. BRB, getting a Frappuccino and two croissants.

This is the most exceptional thing I've read today and I read an article about people claiming the eclipse was racist. Well done.

Mana's going to get a cavity with all the sweets she's taking in throughout the festival.
Someone tag "psychological" on this.

Nakano's behavior is irrational and hasty, but it's not unbelievable. Nakano has an ability that is extraordinary and it uniquely separates her from everyone else. It's been a stable part of her life for decades, and she practically bases her identity off of that ability. To learn that a major aspect of that ability has been inaccurate this entire time is ground-shaking in its implications to her mind. Just because an aspect of that power is inaccurate doesn't mean that said power is entirely inaccurate, but within the manga, only perhaps five to ten minutes of time has passed, so it's not surprising that Nakano is still shocked and confused.

That said I'm pretty ambivalent towards the drama in this manga, but I'm still enjoying it, so it's all good.

The thing is it's not clear what the 'major aspect of that ability' being inaccurate really is. So I can't really buy that. We know she's thinking 'hey those thoughts are different from reality.' But these past 400 pages, a bulk of the pages have featured Toda's thoughts. Which are different from reality. That's been the prevailing dualism which has been driving the irony of this comic since the very first page.

I hate using my own common-sense in fiction since that's imposing ideas outside of the work onto it which is unfair, but is Nobel asking us to suppose that in these many years of overhearing (overtelepathing? overesping?) people, not once someone thought something which Nanako knew was incorrect? I know she's been a loner, but what I supposed doesn't require having friends.

Call me insane but i think that she's in a coma. She was only a child when she fell into one and had a very isolated childhood. That is why she dreams about her life with imaginary powers and ends up making friends and having her own love interest, living her childhood fantasy. Now she's about to wake up and realises that all of this was fabricated and has to face up to reality. In the next 30 chapters she will wake up from her coma. Her 4-coma.

Someone call up Jun Maeda and let him know that he can find the plot for the next KEY visual novel right here.

I am geniuely intrigued by how that's supposed to work out:D

Btw, like how you assume that after 3 successive hints (Best boys job, his gf and Todas drink), nobody could possibly take said hints and make a correct prediction unless they cheat.
Because you see, in a manga, nothing is shown without reason. If there is a weirdly timed close up of someone's face, expect that person to be important in the near future. If a Manga wastes an entire panel to show that someone forgot, let's say, their phone, expect something to happen because of it. Any random fact in Detective Conan *will* be vital evidence. If something happens 3 times in a short while, the author probably wants to get a point across.

Long rant short, don't assume that because you couldn't figure something out, no one else can.

(Woah that sounded more offensive than I intended. Apology in advance to all offended ppl)

No bother friend, it's the chekhov's gun principle at work

Lets be honest though, not many people will pay attention to the fine print when reading a 4-koma

Yes that was an actual spoiler, I can read the speedscans and make "predictions" too.

Kekekeke, I see what you did there.

Returns and slaps the other cheek.

That last panel on 425 is sorta embarrassing.
