Alt Names: alt リベンジ・ゲーム
Author: Kurokawa Komachi
Artist: Kurokawa Komachi
Genres: Horror HorrorMystery MysteryShoujo ShoujoTragedy Tragedy
Type: Manga (Japanese)

Description: One day, Matsui Sakura receives an invitation to a "Revenge Game," and decides to attend. At the location indicated, she ends up locked in a dorm-like building with four of her classmates. It appears that the Revenge Game is being run by a wealthy classmate, Saionji, who was bullied so badly by some of the students that it ruined his life. Now he is taking his revenge, in a brutal game that allows him to have one of his former tormentors killed each morning. However, Sakura--a lonely, quiet, orphan girl--does not understand why she is there, unless it was due to her inaction in stopping the bullying of others. She's also the only one who received an invitation, while the others were abducted or tricked into attending. What is the final purpose of this game? [tethysdust]

In short, the premise is really good. If you haven't read this, though, don't. it is really, really, really bad. I haven't been this pissed off at a bad twist since Ou-Sama Game.

I was actually not serious about that last bit, but thank you anyway for the response.

How the hell did this even get published?

At least my wish is granted. I said from early chapters that I'd like them all dead. Hahaha

Anyway, thanks for the work... or I rather say thanks for the effort of all writer/staff and translation team (and keep quiet about the work.)

Huge waste of time do not read

Spoiler

lmfao tf were those two doing in that panel

I sort of liked the ending, but I agree that there needed to be a looooot more build up. There was no foreshadowing any of these twists at all. The ideas were nice, but the execution was just... eh.

How the hell did this even get published?

Damn it. Who is this mindmaster they keep speaking of?!

Yep, it was bad. The idea was good but the execution was terrible.

Saw everyone saying it was terrible, checked out ending to verify. Without any context the ending is kind of funny.

Wow this was badly written. Not even funny bad, just bad. Do yourself a favor, search something else to read.

Yes I agree. This manga is poorly written. There is a lack of character/twist development, in other words, build up. It a quilt of mismatched ideas. On the other hand, the setting of a "revenge game" has potential to become interesting if given with better rules and characters.

Without even reading it, I have a strange feeling of feeling very thankful for ending this painful story.

Those suspicious comments made me read this.

This was a great experience. What I learned is, I should never ever read anything below 4.00 points. Thank you all.

Ooh god so bad :D

Well, this was a stupid series. The ending was just awful, with a whole lotta b.s. from every single character.

It's not good, nor terrible enough to be amusing. It tries to be a mystery, but the developments are all nonsense twists with zero foreshadowing.

That rating reeaaaally makes me want to read it. Is it that bad?

Presuming that that bitchy Shirai Momoka girl isn't the mastermind by virtue of being too obvious, my guess for who the mastermind is goes to

Also is it weird that we've all silently agreed to ignore the fact that the translators are calling it "the mindmaster" in favor of the more commonly used "mastermind?" There have been enough instances of the word for them to use "Mastermind" at least once if that's what they had intended to say, but it's been "mindmaster" every single time.

This would have been a lot better twist. Just saying.

They just had to throw in another twist for length. And it'll still be less than 10 chapters.

I'm sorry. What happened before was not the worst twist ever. This was.

This series is horrendously silly, which is why I'm still reading it.

Thank god this is ending;

Whoa, that wasn't what I expected at all! I see some people don't like it, but personally I felt like it was the best solution. Here's to hoping things work out in the end...! (Or not?! That would be interesting as well.)

Worst. Twist. Ever.

I love how dramatic shoujos have to be... it's not 'my parent got divorced on my birthday, and now I don't really enjoy them.' it's always the highest extreme. 'My parents got murdered(?) on my birthday, and now I flip out and hit things, even if so much as a cake is brought before me!'
