Not sure about serialization though.

I stand corrected, this is pretty awesome, notwithstanding that it is totally deranged.

Thanks once again, You're Welcome Scans.

The mix of insanity + combat reminds me of Kill La Kill.  This could be a good anime if the right studio took it.

It's more similar to AoT than to Toriko or Dungeon Meshi if you ask me. Also i don't understand what Toriko and Dungeon Meshi actually have in common.

The hunting and eating of weird food?

Oh look the second chapter's finally on batoto. I wish more of this was scanlated, I really liked what's here so far.

I wonder why these kinds of stories are famous. I just don't see what's so interesting about Toriko, Dungeon Meshi and this.

It's a movement/agenda or brainwashing to make kids like more varieties of food, though they may have failed terribly on it.

Earth's Utopia already did second chapter https://earths-utopia.cu.cc/RYOKO/02

Well, I don't really see how you can lump these three together. "Monster eating" isn't really a genre

I don't know, I can see some of the appeal of this as a sort of surreal and dark comedic one-shot.

Mostly all that I liked about this was the sort of surreal feeling produced by the absurd. dark setting and whiplash between comedy and drama, but maintaining that sort of feeling is pretty rare--after a few chapters, once one starts to internalize the logic of the setting and get a handle on where the author is coming from, the magic is usually gone.

I knew that "So you cause injury with your fists huh?" was too stupid of a line to be a correct translation lol

Toriko with 'normal' food. I like.

It's been a while since I've read a comedy based action series. As long as the story stays light I think it could be pretty fun.

It's art isn't so bad, backgrounds look good, weird angles and simple faces are not a problem. Look at Oda, hell, this guy keeps better proportions than him.

Worth following.

Basically, though it's set in a dystopian world and it'll probably focus more on a Ryoko live in this world and drama around it, than be a pure action series or try to go a bit Dungeon Meshi route.

In other words : Female Toriko.

this is awesome, and honestly like the author is high out of his/her mind

Basically, though it's set in a dystopian world and it'll probably focus more on a Ryoko live in this world and drama around it, than be a pure action series or try to go a bit Dungeon Meshi route. Art is a bit messy because author is pretty young (21 years old) and this "1st chapter" is probably upgraded by color pages oneshot that won the biggest prize contest in a magazine it now runs in. He probably got assistants and 2nd chapter, in theory, should've better art and actually show direction author will take in his serialization.

Isn't this basically Toriko with female MC mmm...~?
