To be honest what keeps me from reading this is the art. -.-

I thought that the art was pretty good. The story is really well told for an episodic narrative, and the stories tie in nicely. The themes are also well executed.

The main character is a bit naive and tries too hard, but it's probably necessary to drive the points home and carry the stories to satisfying outcomes. I nearly cried at the end of the second volume.

It's solid manga, and if it interests you even slightly, you really should read it, and I mean this generally to anyone.

Just finished this in 2 days, I nearly cried at some moments in the manga  -_- . Still, I don't understand about that ending lol.

The mangaka changed publishers and rebooted with Shin Black Jack ni Yoroshiku, so it didn't really "end" just then.

a harsh reality for an idealist to be thrown into, but i find it reassuring to know some good doctors. i hope the sequel will let him grow up to be like those, and not just a part of a cold uncaring system.

Just FYI, chapters 24, 25, and 26 are missing here.

Err, no, they're in Vol.3, Vol.3 are from chapters 17-26 so u might need to check there.

FUUUUUU at the father of the premature twins

This is a fascinating manga and makes me glad I didn't go to med school. Also does the art remind anyone else of Urasawa?

Here you go guys.

I'll upload volume 1 and 2 soon as well.
I'll also upload the PDF version of the manga soon (because you have to register to get them, and honestly, the download speed sucks), from volume 3 to 13. According to the usage rights, it's allowed.
Reminds me of TMD, very good so far.
Woah... I started reading this at the fallen onemanga years ago and forgot about it. Good to see it still gets uploads.
Wow I'd wish i had had a dad like that... : (
wow... this is the first time i see a manga of this caliber that they didn't actually blur the "it" part... it was actually shown exactly as irl..

its like TMD..

This is extremely good... How come there's so few follow?

Probably because it was added very early on to batoto, and received no updates since. So few people saw it was there and followed.

If seinen nara can keep up the good work, I'd expect it to gain more followers.
