Well at least she will be safe in jail while the town is at its most dangerous, kinda like being in the castle for the wampa attack.

She will not be "safe" for long. You will see it soon.

So sad.

On the other hand this author draws like a god. He's so fine and meticulous in drawing the human body; I loved this page:

Spoiler

It's implying that they're monkeys/chimps

My bad, I wasn't on the most recent chapters. Thought it was referring to the people spreading poison

from their perspective, the outsider just murdered a man in broad daylight and gave a bullshit excuse, then told them not to verify it.

Not quite though? The person she just killed has already killed at least one citizen so... technically it's pretty clear that she just saved people. If by "their" you mean the police then I guess.

This cop needs a Jackie Chan as a sidekick to enforse law in effective way.

except for the fact that there a bunch of witnesses/victims that saw him going berserk

That's a stretch. Tons of fantasy/sci fi races have colored skin and enhanced physical capabilities. You could just call them goblins or orcs really.
Also what the hell do tails have to do with it.

They're a Dark Skinned race of people, with tails known for their agility. I haven't a pieace of media with this much raicl undertones since star wars E.P 1 with the race of Aliens that spoken broken English or bloken English

They never listen... why officials are always presented as having brick level of mentality?

its their job to be doubtful really

Ouch, she kicked him right in the main banana.

any sympathy I had for this tailed people is running dangerously thin after seeing how bad they handle those affairs.

You must be new to Batoto.

Bah, why am i not surprised someone was gonna get triggered.

Neverrmind the fact that they were portrayed as a friendly people with an anvance architecture.

I'm not particularly afraid of heights but god damn this chapter was giving me the heebie jeebies. No railings of any kind on steep inclines over sheer drops, floating stairs with not a single trace of reinforcement, narrow passages with sharp turns everywhere... Poor Vivan should've gotten paid to go through god knows how much they made her walk, instead of her being the one paying them.

I'd say that next time she'll think of looking for a ground level inn, but that's assuming the city will still be around by then.

I've got similar experience on that kind of stairs. Attached on the side with gaps in between and no railings. I crawled my way up to the top in the end.
It was a playground though.
Do they have police or something?

I know where he'd like to Kum Kum.

Agreed, I just cant understand who find entertainment in these kind of stuff. One wrong word and a joke can become flaming material. This topic is very sensitive, but then again, everyone each on their own.

If they want to start flame war they will find a reason to do so. And pointing obvious stupidity of such actions BEFORE they are made can actually lessen their reason to rage.

While I see your point, these kinds of speculative comments bring nothing good to the table. To my knowledge, noone has complained yet. noone has burned any book. Therefore by commenting about it, you're only doing their job for them, spreading their ideas. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that you're needlessly bringing negativity and increasing the bitterness of the conflict by deciding the actions of another group before they have done anything. Not to mention we don't need to see this page filled with THAT particular internet-shitstorm.

A race of monkey-like black people. They'd burn this in piles in America.

True SJW would burn the author and all people that read this manga for entertainment.

Actually I do think the architectural complexity of the city makes it a favorable depiction.

Especially relative to this manga's discrimination against bald people, who really do not have a good showing.
