Saw the anime started aring and decided to binge read some chapters before watching the first episode. So far this is a really nice and chill read.

I've never had this problem. But then again, I've literally memorized their menu to the point I have my order before I even walk in the door and even the cost in my hands.

Spoiler

Okay this is the second time in a manga I see that McDonald's has menu on the counter itself, and you are expected to make your choice only when you it's your turn to order.

Is this actually a thing in Japan?

They have the regular over head menu and then a smaller menu on the counter. Some places state side do something like this too. I want to say the counter menu is basic stand-alone cheap items, while the over head menu is the combos and seasonal stuff. But to be honest, it's been years since I've been to a Japanese McDonald's so it's hard to remember. All I really remember about it now was the Tamago Burger (one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten).

I'm pretty sure all McDs have a menu projected on screens above their counters (I googled McDs in japan and it shows that). It's quite illogical to have it only availble at the counter when its brand is fast food - can't be fast if customers don't know what they're ordering and it's a bad idea to have customers rely on memory of the menu to order. For Tanaka, I'm pretty sure he's just too lazy to crank his neck up to look at the menu above for options. Otherwise it is understandable to feel the pressure to order quickly when there is a line of people behind you.

Another fun chapter. never ceases to make me laugh.

Not only in Japan, but in other countries too. Actually, i didn't know they had a proper menu until you mentioned

This manga is therapeutic

So calm

That Othello game killed me.

Spoiler

I agree with Tanaka - some of those McDs shakes are like frikkin' molasses. Screw the straw: I use it as a crude scoop and tip the shake in the general direction of my mouth.

I hope we can see more of Saionji (20 years old)

I'M LOVIN THIS CHAPTER SO MUCH.

Thanks blastcomic for the flaccid potatoes

It actually had no set number on it. But Shougei had to add some number to identify it... so [current chapter] + [.5] = 15.5

The Japanese chapters are 50+ and still ongoing currently.

Aww, I thought he should just label it chapter 50.5 or something, but yes I kinda understand his reason mmm...

Lesson be learned, don't let your first concert be a popular band's

But how did Oota get those tickets? And what happened to his wallet?

And that may be the closest Tanaka's been to crying so far. Ah concerts, breaking even the most listless of spirits, one wild mob at a time

It's great how this writer deals with Tanaka's attitude. It's a gentle way of looking at it and also really profound, especially when he says he doesn't want to be the main character in his own life. Also, when one character says Tanaka's just really sad, there's something to that.

...What happened to his wallet?

15 Chapter and already an anime adaptation mmm...~?
This manga is godlike mmm...~!

Wait, really? An anime? The one manga that should never get an anime for the sake of the lead character is getting an anime?

And to the people saying "amazing, it's getting an anime at 15 chapters!" the manga is actually at 55 now, and the anime was announced last week, but that doesn't make it any less amazing

The thing is the scanlator marked the anime adaptation commemorative special as chapter 15.5, so yeah people will think that the manga got an anime adaptation with only 15 chapters mmm...

Oota is such a rational person to not get even a little angry at Tanaka for his sleep method actually working, and using that frustration on more studying. I was actually a slightly pissed for and at him... How dare he have a logical reaction to a bad test...

Really like this manga! I understand how Tanaka-san feels, sometimes I'm like that as well.

I really hope that Tanaka gets a male seiyuu.

First time I'm not excited about an anime adaptation

Maybe because I just can't imagine it..

Or maybe because I don't know if this style of story would work/be interesting as an anime

bleh i thought this manga was better than imouto character >.>

surprised about anime adaptation. maybe it'll be one of those shorts like seki-kun
