Wow, it's like I'm reading a real Tumblr blog!

the latest chapter was good like the other chapters, but with a hopeful feel. I'm so so happy for her

damn.

I gotta say, that writing a story of their own life and experiences, as limited it may seem in relatability, this author managed to give an effective means of advice to others in similar circumstances, no matter how different the situation may be in all other aspects.

I have so little in common with the experiences this author has went through and yet I can say that this has effectively resonated with what I feel in my own situation. the success and failures, the reality vs fantasy, the inability to move on while dragged down by past baggage.

I really hope I could follow in the authors footsteps and get my life under control too :)

We're all gonna make it.

Bonus chapter left

Bravo.

"Maybe the reason I'd been so bad at dealing with people in person, had been how hard I was always trying to make them like me."

Oh I know that feeling mmm...

you may have better luck if you stopped appending every comment with "mmm..."

Probably me in ten years. But maybe because of this series I'll not make the same mistakes. Maybe this series prevented my life from going down the drain.

That ever-present 'die' option is always very near and dear to my heart. I certainly don't understand or empathize with everything the mangaka puts up, but that one certainly hits home, even the feeling of finally, finally being able to put it on-hold.

All of this hits so near me but it doesn't hurt so much as other manga and pieces of art. I wonder why.

Anyway, thanks to Tetsuo scans, really, you guys have no idea how much you've helped me with this.

If I call it "inspiring", will I get fake Internet points?

Spoiler

While the author made a small joke out of this sentence, in reality, it can turn into worse things.

Also, the lack of attention some kids, and even adults, receive from the family, get brushed off or simple ignored because it's more easy to deal with it that way, end up turning them into people they fear most, not all of course, but some do.

You can think I'm just making up stuff here, but I saw and see it every day, some of my friends turned out bad due to this, and when I say bad is to crime or drugs.

I really find this work interesting, it grab not only the sexual context of society, but other things we passed during our teens till our adulthood.

Thanks Tetsu-Scans for bring this marvelous piece of work, and thanks the author to show us how to turn around one's life for the better and grab one's own happiness without worrying about others (actually if people did that I think things would be better in this world lol).

Oh, gosh. This is practically as private and personal as it can possibly become.

I enjoyed it very much. Thanks a ton to the scanlators.

I love this so much, helps me with my own depression, thanks for posting it

very very very very meaningful

Spoiler

I laughed a bit too hard at the translator's note.

Thank you for introducing this series to us.

I would like to quote each page and say something about it, or say something about myself but it would take too much time and space... So I'm just gonna say thank you! and pick up ur panties

These are child panties.

It's a symbol of letting her childishness behind.

This is.... amazingly inspirational.

I didn't think something like this would come from 5 chapters, but damn, it did.

Author's pixiv for anyone interested

Spoiler

It's Oyasumi Punpun and Onani Master Kurosawa all over again.

Not that it's a bad thing mind you. I'm genuinely looking forward to more.

Very good and inspirational.

I could see myself in this. Except I'm not a female or gay.
@Rebola (somehow I don't seem to be able to quote in the new layout)
As somebody to whom a lot of the content is painfully familiar … there are a few panels that might help understanding. Between all the analyzing the relationship to her mother/parents stuff she mentions several times the expectations she has when she manages to start the 'functioning' stuff again, how she believes that it'll change her life to get her ED under control, to hold down a job, to draw manga … and it's not enough. Because when you suffer, you're current suffering is absolute. the better/worse days exist within the current framework of suffering, but it's really hard to look back and understand that right now you experience significantly more good moments than bad ones, more than before, especially if you're stuck in a mindset trying to fulfil outside expectations. More than that, relapses might be caused by it. Also … suffering is not comparable. I know people who surely suffered more than me and still managed to be functional.
