Aww. I love the fairies. They're good kids. ...Sometimes.

It's simple. We kill Luna.

Thank you Marisa for helping the fairies with the act. Poor Luna tough

Dear Diary, the fairies did something good today.

This was a nice counterpoint to Forbidden Scrollery's chapter today.

If it is, not gonna lie, I'd love to see Clownpiece be playable, and not just because 'Murica.

Although...if the tag-team system being theorized about on shrinemaiden is indeed a thing, it almost seems like our Three Fairies of Light are more viable. Wonder how they'd sort that out.

Perhaps A-Type could be Sunny and Luna and B-Type could be Luna and Star?

wait.. wait.. wait..! since when this series have a plot?

Shikieki is taller, wiser, and prettier than fandom.

stop slacking Reimu, you look chubby when you remove your miko sleeves!

Ha! Had a feeling we'd be seeing Komachi and Eiki when the higanbana showed up. I've missed those two.

Wow, this chapter felt more like Forbidden Scrollery with the amount of intrigue going on. Is this build-up for the Touhou Project game that was announced a little while ago?

Can't wait for the Hakurei Shrine to burn down and spawn a new game.

Heartwarming, you could say. Eh, eh?

I'll just show myself out.

Time in Touhou seems pretty interesting. The events of Touhou 15 apparently happened a year ago. Reimu apparently hasn't aged since Touhou 6, when the Windows started so does that mean it's been a really short time between 10 major games and a number of side games?

This is fun to think about. I love ZUN's deliberately vague writing!

Time passes 1:1. You'll note that nearly every single chapter of all of ZUN's comics makes a big deal about the weather and seasonal holidays and whatnot. They're all meant to be placed in a very specific moment in time.

That said, it's unclear how old Reimu was in the first place, so it's hard to say how she should be aging. Personally it feels to me like she's in her mid twenties now.

Fairly certain the timeline in Touhou, to our real life timeline, is 1:1

Mysteriously Reimu and Marisa are still very young looking. Akyuu, on the other hand, has aged since her first appearance.

Man, that is so far off from the usual games it's funny. I think the only way you're getting something like that is a fan game.

To be honest, there are a lot of creative fangames for Touhou. Most of them corresponding to japanese stereotype of what game is though^ so it will really be fun to see quest or adventure sometime.

Those are yew berries (probably Taxus cuspidata, the Japanese yew), not oak berries (which don't really  exist, since oak have acorns and galls instead).

Like other oaks, Quercus gilva has acorns, and the acorns are edible. You eat the seed part WITHIN the shell of the nut. Notably, unlike other oaks, gilva acorns can be roasted and eaten directly without leeching (most other oak acorns have high concentrations of tannic acid which is very bitter and can damage the kidneys when consumed over a long period of time).

See, even the leaves are completely different.

Yes, sorry, I've been told this by other people too. I'm tempted to make a version 2, but that would break a lot links, among other things. Hmm.

the touhou mangas are so great. i wonder if they will get a game adaptation? FW wasn't enough, a point-and-click adventure game old school style would be really nice.

yep! Clownpiece is an american

Leave it to the lunatic fairy from Hell to question the wisdom of her compatriots when they want to see her "place." I mean, how bad can eternal damnation and agony be? :P

Oh, and I loved how this chapter made mention the typhoon that menaced Forbidden Scrollery very recently--I suppose it makes sense, but it's those little details that remind you how solid the continuity is within the series, even among separate titles.

Thanks ABK & Clarste!
