Or maybe you don't understand what a good tournament arc is about.
The problem is it's really bland and boring this arc.
It is as you say - we just see this one and that one "fighting" and showcase of their abilities. In a quick way ,not in a primal shounen tournament.
Man it really gets boring after 10 or so of this chapters.
After all , When the competitors have poker face all the time,it's really exciting right?
You just can't get the tournament feeling out of this one.

Mod Edit: multi-quotes that's 10+ lines applies to [spoiler]tag too. To see how to do Quote within quote [spoiler] tag , read c.s guideline which I posted below.

Perhaps you don't understand that people have different tastes.  What I personally find "bland" is endless tournament battles with all the same cliches.  If you like the formulaic stuff, that's fine, but I don't.  A good arc of any kind should mix things up a bit, not repeat the same exact pattern with different characters with different abilities, and that's why I'm enjoying this.  I (and others from the comments I've read) thought it was refreshing.  If it bores you so, perhaps you should read another manga w/ a tournament in it, then come back when this is done. :P

We all have things we don't understand.  For example, I don't understand why someone who requires death to be entertained continues to read a manga where the lack of death was made clear in the first few chapters.

EDIT: On my screen, it was 8 lines, which is less than 10.

i'm actually kind of of the same mind that this arc isn't particularly fun. i DO care about what Osamu will plan but i DON'T care about the other characters or rankings and stuff. so, uh, waiting for it weekly - eh. but getting the whole fight to see the results - yssss. it's basically an arc that works better when read in bulk, imo.

Mod edit: please put 10+ lines in [spoiler] tag....

Except that in this shonen manga I don't remember anyone dying at all.(good guy side)

And this bores me because there is no suspense at all. I don't get how reading manga equivalent to football match+commenting can be considered interesting (speaking of this arc).

Also I don't bother trying to memorize the names of the huge cast of side characters  that each has versatile power and good specific side effect.

A short review of this arc:

" The people with all cool powers and stuff that didn't get to shine last arc make an entrance here. You are pleased to see & read pages after pages of the cast of  game commentators discussing the played games, which are packed with INTENSE ACTION! The tournament is heating up with each chapter, stay tuned for the next chapters to find who the best one really is ! "

Yeah.

I'm really enjoying this arc. It combines elements of training arcs and tournament arcs to great effect. Not only do our MC's get the experience they need, but we are also introduced to the characters they'll be fighting next to when they go after the neighbors. It is an elegant and highly efficient method of story telling.

Right? I find it really refreshing that it seems Ashihara Daisuke is so straightforwardly and unabashedly writing for the long haul.

"This bores me because I have attention issues and people aren't dying every chapter."

really?....i dont think so, the battles of other teams beside tamakoma-2 are boring but if its a battle of tamakoma-2 its not boring, why?? because we all wanna see what kind of tactics they will use to win a match....

No,it's boring because it's a fucking tournament where there is nothing at stake.

Just show-off of other people power and tactics centered around their power.Hardly that is entertaining.

Well it would be good if it wasn't for :

....continue....

I feel bad for WT readers who have to rely on this group. There's a BIG ERROR in your chapter 95, page 6.

Arafune mentioned Tachikawa, Kazama, and Kage.

TLDR, SUBSCRIBE TO VIZ ENGLISH SHONEN JUMP.

It is fantastic, keep up with the fast scans!

So I added the oneshots to the description and I hope no one is triggered (there, I said it again)  by that. The oneshot about Jin is obviously one of the two oneshots that World Trigger is based on; the other being Trigger Keeper. Room 303 was added by me although it is not directly related to WT. Still two of the characters of Room 303 reappeared in World Trigger while the other two's names were mentioned by Jin in WT, so I think it has enough relevance to be in the discription. Well, just wanted to let people know this before anyone gets irritated.

gloriousleader work (here & everywhere) are faster, thus i had no complain. i sure other reader are same as mine. the quality can be compromise to a certain degree... i see no problem with that since it updated regularly. unless you want a SLOWER (more work) release then you should not read his work (and blabbing, fuc**ng ungrateful lecher) just wait for higher quality when they out. EASY.

Thanks for the upload! I really enjoyed the chapter.

I agree with you. I miss Betterthannothing scans. No bs, just fast release.

Yeah, you miss someone who disappeared and devalue someone who picked up the work left behind for ages, all over an April's Fool joke that every other translating group does? Way to be a grateful human being. (Not saying I don't appreciate betterthannothing, I still do)

But Glorious, it is true that you forgot real c92

what's with the troll ch 92? not funny and what terrible technique.

It was an April Fool's special by Glorious Scanlations. They've stated that they will put up the real chapter soon

what's with the troll ch 92? not funny and what terrible technique.

I always fall for it!

is it me or are there just too many characters being introduced?
