Anyone else think there should be a horror tag due to what was shown in the latest chapter 5?  Like wtf was that shit.... creeeeeppppyyyyyyyyyy......

Gg art, zero screentones?

All within the period of a day, at that. Unless they're referring to different events somehow, either the author or the translator is messing up.

My assumption while reading was that the seventy year number was close to when the Huang family was massacred. The hundred years number would be a common figure of speech  (just as people say "a century ago" in english).

I think the hundred and twenty years figure will probably refer to another event regarding the Huang's rise to power, or when something engendered the wrath of Yan Po.

Something is off with the time. First it is "70 years later", then the killing happened "100 years ago" and now in chapter 4 "more than 120 years have passed".

This is great, can't wait to see what happens next.

Things are escalating pretty quickly. And I'm fucking loving it.

Interesting story so far. Hit the follow button immediately. Also glad you dropped the giant watermark. At one point it even get on top of a bubble speech. Great work, looking forward for the updates!

wow this is nice. I've been reading a ton of chinese LN lately, and this is the first manhua I've seen that's actually good.

The art is visually mesmerizing. It's awesome (Y)

The art is awesome and so far i'm interested to see where the story will go. It's all going to depend how the protagonist will be introduced, unless Yan Po ends up being the main focus of the story which would be interesting to be honest.

Sweet you guys got Golden Sparrow

SUPERB ART

No kidding. I really like how many panels looks like a woodprint or something made with a scratchboard. Pretty neat.

Was it the general who turned out to be Yan Po?

SUPERB ART, though the storytelling made me wonder if this is actually brought up from actual chinese lore. Lots of specific names, eras, and details are thrown about early on, as if readers are expected to have some sort of familiarity with them already.

Anw, thank you saikoplus for putting this up.

No problem. We gonna update this one regular from this week.

Thanks for update!
