Things seem to be coming to a head with this new release - any thoughts on the madness to ensue?

Just so you know, your thread title convinced me to read Dorohedoro.

I've been reading it for the past five days, hating myself every moment because I had to do schoolwork instead. Just finished the most recent chapter - and it was totally worth it.

Its good, but not something to call above and beyond in depth and imagination. Try Kokou no HIto, that that is some ocean deep depth.

I love it.  Dorohedoro is consistently bizarre and creative -- which I find to be very impressive for a manga with 100+ chapters.

Dorohedoro is one of the greatest Mangas out there I believe. However it seems that it's heading towards its end.

Seriously. Everything about this manga, but especially the ambiance, world-building, and art, is amazing. It seems like the kind of series that people would read even if they don't usually enjoy manga.

Totally agree. I just read the last bonus curse and I'm sad to find out that volume 19 will be the last. This image was especially haunting: http://www.batoto.net/read/_/203232/dorohedoro_v18_ch118.5_by_fallen-syndicate/19

I have to say this manga is one of my favorites.  I'll admit I sometimes have trouble keeping up with the plot, but I love the characters and the views given.

Yes! The characters have some of the most organic interaction I've ever seen in a manga. Not to mention they're all so likeable. For example, although the magic users are initially introduced as a bunch of power-tripping bastards, you realize that you really can't hate the En family once it starts to focus on them. Or the Cross-Eyes, for that matter.

Totally love the manga, rich world building, amazing characters with nice chemistry, cool designs n action, black humor that totally cracks u up and even some cute and goofy moments which are quite unlikely for such a series. For me its like Hellboy + BLAME! + Quentin Tarantino films. Epic!
Just realized the author of Dorohedoro, HAYASHIDA Q. used to work as an assistant for Tsutomu Nihei. No wonder there is such a rough touch on the art.
