Intellectual Property Rights

All content within Batoto website except user submissions are owned or licensed to Batoto and therefore are subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights. Batoto is provided as is for personal use and you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, broadcast, display, sold, licensed or exploited for any other purposes without the written consent of the owners of the content.

Third Party Websites

Batoto contains links to third party websites that are not owned or controlled by Batoto. We have no control over these websites and hold no liabilities for visiting these websites. Therefore, please take caution when visiting third party websites.

User Submissions

Batoto permits the submission of comics by users of Batoto for the purpose of hosting, sharing and publishing these user submissions.

The uploader (you) is solely responsible for their own submissions and the consequences of publishing the content. By submitting, you affirm that you own or have the necessary permission to use and publish the content. You will retain all of your ownership rights for all materials submitted to Batoto.

Furthermore, you agree that you will not: 1) submit copyrighted or protected material without the proper property rights; 2) publish false information about Batoto or a third party; 3) submit content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, violate law, or otherwise inappropriate; 4) imperate other persons. Batoto does not endorse any user submitted content and disclaims all liabilities in connection with user submissions. Batoto does not permit copyright infringing activities and infringement of intellectual property rights on our website.

Batoto reserves the right to remove any content without prior notice. Batoto will also terminate a user's access to the website if they are determined to be a repeat offender.

If you are a copyright holder or an agent of the copyright holder and believe that a user submission or other content in our website infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit an abuse report to admin@batoto.com for abuse by providing following material:
1) Physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
2) Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
3) Information to sufficiently contact you, such as: address, telephone number, and email; and
4) A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Batoto makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of this site's content or the content of any sites linked to this site and assumes no liability or responsibility.

Choice of Law & Forum

These terms and conditions of use and any dispute between you and Batoto arising out of or related to this Agreement or your use of this site (the "disputes") shall be construed, interpreted and governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada., without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions. The province and federal courts located in Ontario shall have primary and exclusive jurisdiction and be the exclusive venue for the disputes and you consent to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction and venue of these courts in connection with the disputes. You must commence any claim or cause of action that you may have with respect to the disputes by filing only in these courts within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. The Company may file any claim or cause of action which it has within the time limits established for such claim by the laws of Ontario.

Limitation Liabilities

In no event shall Batoto be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages whatsoever.
