Aw, that was a nice slow chapter... In comparison with everything else. How calming.

Wow, a lot happened in Chapter 22. That gunshot scene reminded me of Golden Days a bit. XD.

Spoiler

One aspect I really love from Takao-sensei's stories are the characters convey a lot of mixed, complex feelings. Thanks for updating, Let's Not Fall In Love team!

I really hate that "haha sexual assault and harassment is cool because of lesbians lol" trope that often appears in manga. Think about this entire arc in r63 and you'll realize how creepy it is.

Edit: Just putting things in spoilers since they do not directly pertain to the manga.

Already did. It's even scarier when you see it happen in real life. Honestly, this arc almost made me want to drop this manga- but I'm hoping it gets better

Thanks for the update!! Poor Nelam!!

Well, that escalated quickly.

Neelam sleeping positions is oh my

Hopefully this arc finishes up soon, because to be honest both Warren and Jeanne are beginning to test my patience a bit. Neither of them comes across very swimmingly and their characters slowly get a bit less uplifting chapter by chapter.

Still - thanks for the speedy releases. ^^
Thanks for the update! Neelam is quite devious, isn't he? Not a huge surprise for a Takao Shigeru hero. ☺

The flow of this mangaka is so weird.

There are no characters to like either.

In chapter 37 (I'm reading volume 8 now), it says that Neelam's name means "Sapphire" in English. So it looks like that's pretty definite conformation on the spelling. And I did find a man with the name "Neelam": a former president of India, Neelam Sanjiva Reddy. He was born in 1913. Interestingly, his wife was also named Neelam.

Also, Movic is selling Madam Petit merchandise if anyone is interested. I got the postcard sets for both Madam Petit and Golden Days.

Great. I'll use it accordingly for future chapters. Thank you

And the dice are rolled. Looking forward to seeing what kind of scam they've set into motion.
It finally updates! I hope the next chapter doesn't take so long... <.<

Bello!!!!!!

Grazie  ;)

This is a darn good yarn.

actually that's quite interesting, I'm impressed!

Dear me!  This "artist" buys stolen goods, and then says he would return them to the rightful owner, a sixteen year old girl, if she would sleep with him.  He really ought to give up art, return to America, and run for president.

...I'm not getting the reference.

But the origin is important. Janne is Nordic in origin while Jeanne is French. I'll give you Niram, but I can't see an Indian

being named Color rather than Sapphire. (I'd make a guess that she named him after an Indian restaurant she went to.)

Neelam is listed as a m & f name on behindthename (I know it's probably not the most accurate place), maybe it has some historical use as male? (You know, like in English, Tracy and Ashley used to be mostly male names but now are almost entirely female.) His brother is called Padma (パドマ) (he hasn't appeared yet), which is also listed on that site as m & f but shows mostly female on a Google search. Maybe she did it on purpose, though, because her own name is predominately masculine (It's the name her parents gave her.).

She did do some research for this manga, and even includes a list of references at the end of each volume. I found her manga to be much more historically accurate than most shoujo manga.

Jannu (ジャンヌ) would be the direct romanization of her name. I had also thought it was supposed to be Jeanne. I think that Janne would be pronounced with a Y sound at the beginning, but Jeanne sound pretty close to the Japanese pronunciation (with the J sound at the beginning). I think the nnu is supposed to sound like the long n at the end of Jeanne.

Why do I get feeling that
