MISTAKES HAVE BEEN MADE

Pretty sure it is just implying he is an idiot but he is somehow surprisingly emphatic to both the children and Death Mask.... then again it could also be implying that Death Mask is an idiot.

Lock is a gentle giant. Simple as that.

>adolescence

confirmed: Death Mask is a teen mom

The original was "seishun" if I recall correctly, so it's more like "youth".

Lock is a really nice character (and he seems to be the one who understand the most childrens feelings), I hope he will get more focus in the future.

Untranslated pages:

First one is basically "We are... friends, right? Best friends, you two! No... BESUTO FURENZU" (written in katanaka to mimic English words).

Second is kids just playing and Maris goes "look here" and the other boy just nods.

Bottom diague:

Death Mask: "Maris, a bit harder please"

Lock: "Maris' back is so thin!"

And finally: "YOUR BACK IS WAY TOO WIDE"

The large speech bubble is "Isn't such a peaceful Hell nice? IT IS!"

Finally Death Mask has stopped yelling at Maris. I was starting to think the author thought this as normal behavior, since he portrayed himself as D. Mask. Anyway, i'm glad the character changed.

While it's played for laughs, Death Mask's day job involves regularly dropping people into lava, or some other variation of cruel and unusual execution. Much of the humor of the comic in general comes from the incongruity of the three Demon Kings generic evil overlord work being interrupted by the mundane absurdity of raising a child.

The mangaka draws from their own life experiences, but Death Mask clearly isn't a fictional alter-ego, and that's a distinction you should keep in mind.

Just checking what's this manga is all about... I'll probably won't read it but I gotta say, that vol 4 cover is really REALLY creepy

everything is creepy when your mind is always on the gutter

Lock is best uncle!

Lol. The snoring. I can relate...to Maris's position.

Feels

There are so many "Mar-"s now...

there are only botamochi and dark botamochi

THE NECK GOES SNAP, BOOM BOOM CLAP

Mr. Tatin is my favorite character in this manga

There are so many "Mar-"s now...

... I was clapping for Dark Botamochi.

Oh. My.

No Maris for a single frame this chapter. Whatever is this manga coming to?

I guess you can say its a Nightmare

You might've heard of "explain it like I'm Calvin" (from Calvin and Hobbes)

But now we have "explain it like I'm Maris"
