Hyena-scans is one of the many scanlation groups that provide fans a way to read manga in a language they understand. As you might have guessed, this group is named after the animal hyena. Just like hyenas eat leftovers, we scanlate the left over series, series that are not well known by the public and not popular with the scanlators.

The rise of Hyena-scans begins on 17-01-2009, when the founding member made his first official scanlation release. Since then Hyena-scans has released more than 100 chapters and we plan to do many more. Although it started out with just one person, these days we have grown into a relatively small yet dedicated scanlation group. Scanlation remains a hobby for us and we prefer to keep it fun and relaxed. For those reasons we only scanlate series that we like and prefer not to rush things or compete with other groups. Our releases may be uploaded or mirrored anywhere, as long as you don’t claim it as your own work or ask money for it.
