Hayasaka is a handsome salaryman who despite his outwardly pleasant demeanor, is actually very spiteful inside.
His favourite routine when coming back home from work include stopping by the convenience store to buy beer to drink at home.
One day, he happened to come across the convenience store's part-timer, Kumagai jumping into a river to save a cat.
