Akane is deeply inspired by Todo, a fashion designer, and it so happens that she, his biggest fan, would work under him. Though Akane works for Todo, an aloof perfectionist, she's never had a conversation with him, let alone does he know she exists. Happy enough just to work near him, one day Akane happens upon a crying Todo on the roof of their company. What's more, Akane comes across a choker that was dropped and left behind on the roof where Todo was standing.
