Masumi Tōdō, a woman who once aimed to be a professional violinist but failed at an international competition, has given up her dream. Even so, she can’t let go of her violin. One day she falls down stairs unexpectedly and is transported to another world. Amid the confusion she is accused of being a spy, arrested, and brought before Ark, the Commander of the Knights. At her lowest, her violin—also brought into this new world—becomes her savior. Thus starts her life anew as a “musician” (bard-/instrumental role) in this knight order, navigating danger, suspicion, and making her place.
