Summary:
A prequel to the "Saint Seiya" series.
In ancient times, the Titan Kronos (son of Uranus, the Sky, and Gaia, the Earth) and his consort Rhea gave birth to six children. Kronos swallowed five. The sixth, Zeus, was hidden from Kronos by Rhea and saved. Upon reaching adulthood, Zeus forced his father to release the other five gods and battled the Titans for control of the universe. Kronos and the other eleven Titans lost the war and were imprisoned in Tartarus.
Thousands of years later, in Greece, the Pope visits the recently reincarnated infant Athena, intending to kill her. She is saved by the Gold Saint Sagittarius Aiolos. The Pope declares Aiolos a traitor and has Capricorn Shura murder him, leaving his younger brother, Leo Aiolia, to grow under the shadow of his brother's treason and to hold a grudge against the Saints as a whole.
As the Titans are revived and begin to seek vengeance against Zeus and against mankind, the Saints must find a way to come together. This marks the start of Aiolia's story and of the battle of the Gold Saints against the Titans.
