Mervi, able to see fairies by birthright, works as a kind of roaming housemaid posting — moving from one mansion to another to serve. This time, she arrives at the winter villa of the military officer Adam Spencer and his foster daughter Kaitlyn. Her contract is only for a month.
The foster daughter is known to have driven many maids away with her temper. Yet Kaitlyn too seems to be able to see fairies.
